For hours? Not necessarily a pig, but lazy and not very conscientious to others around them. I don&#39;t believe april was specifically saying that she was a pig for leaving out the salad, but more so as a diagnosis of the general demeanor towards household sanitation. Maybe I&#39;m wrong, and she hates warm salad so much that she hates her roommate for leaving out the salad to become warm in her presence.</p>

Considering she is outnumbered in her opinion of the cleanliness she needs to chock it up to lesson learned of discussing such things if she finds them so important to happy living.

Personally, I think it's pretty disgusting to have a dirty kitchen. I don't care about the rest of the house, but the place in which you prepare food shouldn't be a haven for bacteria that can potentially put you in the hospital. Yes, she lives with people who don't care, and she's outnumbered. Doesn't make the situation any more sanitary or safe. Just my opinion.

I agree with that and I don't ever leave things unsanitary myself but we have only her word of the so called filth and I don't find leaving out a salad or some spills that never got wiped unsanitary. I honestly believe she should move and learn the lesson of full disclosure of personal expectations with potential roommates so to avoid such drama.

You don't know if that spill is slightly dried juice, top ramen liquid, or raw chicken juice. Better to be safe than sorry, right? And yes, we don't know the ACTUAL state of the kitchen sanitation, so we're only speculating. I just thought that if she felt strongly enough about the subject to start a thread, it might be pretty messy. Suppose that was a fallacy on my part.

I have gathered from the thread that most made the same assumption however she is a kid to me and I'd wage this summer's harvest she is in the category of overly high cleanliness standards that she feels are the correct ones and that the other roommates should stop being lazy and do things her way. She bitched about a guy not cleaning up after toast? having clothes on HIS bed?
She won't answer whether she discussed these things with them before she moved in and says I am not making sense so she won't bother with me. I also can't imagine that this place is so disgusting and that not one of them gives a shit that they live in this so called filth and piles of garbage everywhere.

Well, I won't pretend to know what kind of person she is, nor will I take her word as gospel that the place is a pigsty. Only stating my opinions(and some facts) about sanitation.

It's not blindly defending her by stating that unsanitary conditions lead to foodborne illness. I believe that has been the main the focus of all my posts since we've begun conversing.

I don't need to defend myself thank u :) The salad was left out overnight , twice she has done this, she even made a new one before tossing the old one. Am i overly clean ? No, did i discuss my expectations with the home owner yes, he agreed the house needs to be keept cleaner, maybe read all my posts before U assume anything about me. Why jump down meta's throat, he actualy read the thread and my posts, u just started assuming things which is sad when i was very clear and detailed in all my posts. Not one time have i wanted to cause trouble. Yes making a toast mess right after i cleaned ( he watched) was very rude, You seem to lack common sense and just wanna argue, that's why i decided not to answer, i didn't need to lol.

Yes, you caught me skimming your thread; my first post believe it or not was because I wanted to help as I have a lot of experience dealing with all sorts of living situations but then I read on and yes, I got offended that you thought the roommates should have scrubbed the home for you and to feel embarrassed. I happen to skim very well and stand by everything stated, you should deal or move.
