That and lung cancer...karmic punishment for sure.Imo Paterno was just as guilty for not reporting it to the police. The guilt from it all killed him
The games will still draw 100,000 loyal fans every week. And they still have a billion dollars in recumbent funds. Sadly there is always collateral damage in these situations. Husband goes to jail for murdering his wife, child goes into foster system. Unfortunate collateral but it always happens when people do these things.I agree with the fine but did they have to punish the football team and students?

I dunno, that sick fuck Sandusky might like Tyrone. I bet he's been prepping his asshole for jail for years.Im glad this old bastard lost his legacy and fame...
He dont deserve the breath of anyone anymore...
Like stated above, the guilt did kill him and cancer crap was bullshit imo...
He knew the truth would spring out eventually, he didnt want to be around, so he copped out and died...
I hope dusky gets his share of tyrone,
That raises a very interesting point........so, bet against Penn State this season?
I agree, re-writing history will not change or affect those that went through the abuse and it really does not affect Sandusky, JoePa or Penn State.Vacating wins basically means that those in charge want to re-write history. It's a ridiculous thing that punishes the student athletes that poured their soul in to making those games happen, whether they won or lost. It's an insult to everyone that played on those teams since 1998.
The players had nothing to do with what went on with Sandusky. I think punishment is for those involved and nothing more. Punish the ever living shit out of the school, but don't write "pretend history" as one article put it.
I mean for real, they still won those games. The videos of those games say they actually happened, LOL. NCAA officials have never gotten anything right as far as fair punishment. I mean, look at Auburn the year they went 11-0...they were not allowed to play the title game because the NCAA punished the whole team for rules that were violated by just a few people.
Penn St. won those games. That did happen, I don't give a fuck what this punishment says. And if you're gonna vacate wins, then you better change the recorded stats for every team that they played against.
