Vacating wins basically means that those in charge want to re-write history. It's a ridiculous thing that punishes the student athletes that poured their soul in to making those games happen, whether they won or lost. It's an insult to everyone that played on those teams since 1998.
The players had nothing to do with what went on with Sandusky. I think punishment is for those involved and nothing more. Punish the ever living shit out of the school, but don't write "pretend history" as one article put it.
I mean for real, they still won those games. The videos of those games say they actually happened, LOL. NCAA officials have never gotten anything right as far as fair punishment. I mean, look at Auburn the year they went 11-0...they were not allowed to play the title game because the NCAA punished the whole team for rules that were violated by just a few people.
Penn St. won those games. That did happen, I don't give a fuck what this punishment says. And if you're gonna vacate wins, then you better change the recorded stats for every team that they played against.
