id go one step further and say at the point of leaving his vehicle everything he did up until actually re-entering the vehicle can be concluded as part of his original search . . . . . .. only at the point of returning to where his original search started can it be over

This isn't the speed of someone who is going somewhere, it is the speed of someone who is doing something else.
like, say, talking on the phone?

...the encounter was wanted by Martin or he would of continued home.
*would have

or it could easily be explained by any number of other things, such as talking on the phone. :dunce:

when you want a confrontation with someone, do you tend to run the fuck away from them or follow after them?

fucking idiot.

No, I don't envision him creeping around. The point was that he must of stopped somewhere or did something else. Would he have been shot if he just went home after he lost Zimmerman?
*must have

yes, yes. we get it.

black kid should have known his place and gone home. it's not like he had every right to be out there, innocently talking on the phone to his girlfriend after buying some skittles for his little cousin.

Are you certain that the backtrack wasn't part of a search?
if clawfoot had bothered to listen to the interrogations, he would know that the "backtracking" to the truck was just another part of zimm's evolving story.

zimm admitted to the interrogator that he went down the T searching for martin.

maybe he should bother to get the facts of the case before opening his stupid, racist mouth.

Seriously for a second ... do you really envision T creeping along? Could 30 of those 40 minutes no have been talking to someone? cn

another thing clawfoot seems oblivious to is that martin was new to the area. he did not know that the gates closed at 7pm. he probably found that out after he walked home from the store, and had to backtrack back along the path he just walked and then down through the opening between the houses.

the last part we know for a fact because that is where zimm originally slowed down to give martin the stink eye, if we are to believe anything zimm has to say, which is a risky proposition at this point.

anyone who wants to verify this can google "retreat at twin lakes near sanford fl" and see how far he would have had to back track after discovering that the gates close at 7.

edit: a better search would be "7/11 near 3141 Retreat View Cir Sanford Florida 32771" on google maps.

Hey buck, why do you ASSUME Trayvon was walking slow because he was on a phone?

because zimm said he was walking slowly.

also, i don't generally jog and talk on the phone. generally, when i'm on the phone, i usually stop actually. that's just my preference though, your mileage may vary.

zimm probably didn't even realize martin was on the phone, he was using ear buds which were probably not visible under his hoodie and his phone was in his pocket to keep it out of the rain.

I ROFL'd long and hard when I read this. Oh the Irony
pretty much irony cause my ability to spell or the limits of my vocabulary have nothing to do with my ability to inerpret or express my thoughts . . . . . .so ya its pretty ironic

a misspelled word has as much power written incorrectly as it does written correctly, or are you so obtuse as to argue proper execution is more important them meaning when it comes to communication . . .

maybe you should sit the next few plays out NoDrama . . . .

Are you able to chew bubble gum and walk at the same time, or do you have to stop also?

40 minutes for one mile. that is 1.5 MPH. Half the speed of a geriatric with a walker.

Texting takes more concentration, prolly why they've banned texting and driving and not chewing and driving...

you're sure he didn't walk to the gate, realize it was closed because he didn't live there and know what time the gate closed, and have to backtrack, search for an alternate opening to the development, and go through there?

or are you just ASSUMING?
