CO2 retains heat, period. NOTHING you can say or do will change that simple fact.
What doesn't retain heat? Does oxygen and nitrogen retain heat too? Hmmm, should we do away with these too? Where did you get that info from anyways?

So now "we" know that CO2 is a heat sync, so whats gonna happen when 300 million americans start up their car every day, not mention 1 billion chinese. Added to the fact that we in North America have such a craving for meat that the methane from our cows stinky ass farts is actaully breaking down the ozone. Is that not messed up? how can you not be worried.
Ok ok you got me here..... So now "we" know that co2 is a heat sync, but what about the other ~70% of greenhouse gases that are water vapor? Does water vapor not act as a "heat sync"? Should we tell everyone to not have a pool or water their lawns because its evaporating water vapor which is a greenhouse gas that acts as a "heat sync"??????

This is extremely important in realizing the relationship between co2 levels and our temps. The warmer the water the less co2 that it can absorb, and the converse hold true too- the colder the water the more co2 it can absorb/dissolve..
Moreover, the temps thusly effect the co2 levels and not the other way around. A colder ocean temp, the more co2 it can dissolve. A warmer ocean temp, the less co2 it can absorb. But, in order to change the oceans temps it takes MANY years because the ocean is SO VAST and MASSIVE.
Also i saw i really smart thing the other day about the fact that regardless of wether Global warming is a crisis or not, why in the holy hell would we then chose to not spend the cash to try to fix it now rather than wait till the next crisis! Because, let's face it, we still don't know enough about the earth's climate changes pre-modern human to really say with any certainty just how much of the change we're recording is due to human activity versus natural shift.
