It is not that imperative as long as you keep your Rez temps below 70F. I change mine every two weeks
If you continue topping up with water to maintane ppm and pH but don't throw out your old water and replace you will eventually get a nutrient imbalance, since the plants are sucking out what they need, and leaving what they don't need.My Plants are loving their environment right now including their water and nutes mixture. They are growing fucking 5'' a day!!!! I dont want to change my water this week for this reason only. I have the perfect mixture
If I don't change it what could happen..... What are my risks...
Not that I am trying to teach you how to suck eggs, but have you tried a scrog net to train em? Less stress and no physical harm to ya plants. Get them where you want them then take the net down. I just flipped mine 2 weeks ago, only vegged for three weeks and they are beasts with a pretty level canopy, mind you they were superclones (well worth the wait).they were trained with tying and supercropping. that is a 70 percent sativa. its delahaze and they can out grow your space very easily if you leave them to it. those were taken a week or so back. they are lots bigger now!
Go B&Q, they do a roll of rigidish plastic temporary fence stuff. It has 2 inch squares and works a treat to hold ya branches down. Nail the mesh to a wooden frame and your away. I tried the bungie scrog nets but ya plants just push em up. It does save shitloads of time vegging and I won't grass ya to the NSPCC. National Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Cannabis.well i did train them a bit with a net. you can just about see it in the pics but it wasnt the right size squares for a proper scrog. i think its designed more for just spreading them out a bit for better light penertration.
Im growing Jack Herrer right now. What do you think. Where do you find that kind of info out. When I got the seeds they said Flower for about9-12 weeks but nothing about Veg.You need to know the genetics. If you growing a strain that outdoors grows to 6ft but you want to grow it indoors, say in a 6ft tent, you better keep veg short. Indicas usually need a longer veg or they will be too small by harvest
i think jack herer is a sativa so you will get a decent amount of stretch.Im growing Jack Herrer right now. What do you think. Where do you find that kind of info out. When I got the seeds they said Flower for about9-12 weeks but nothing about Veg.
im going to start doing that from clone. it should shave a month off the cycle if done properly!I dont wait anymore. I am 12 at the start, my plants were getting to tall and big for the room. I think I lose a bit but gain on time, I think lol.
I think that is kinda like the lucas formula right? Once you have added back the total amount you start again. I have 6 in a tray now that drink 50 litres every 3-4 days so the total res every 7-8 days! That is an older grow that you are showing right? Are you still doing the same water change cycle? The middle tote got changed after 60 days of flowering. The buckets every 15-20 days. Nothing was ever phd, ever. Tote had one res change the whole time, just top ups. Its mostly related to how big your rez is and how much your plants drink. I read in a great book that you should change your rez when the plants have consumed the entire thing. Example. If they drink a gallon a day and the rez is 10 gallons then change after 10 days. I waited about the right time for that. My big ones were drinking half gallonish a day so 15/20 days right? I had a huge yield so i dont think anything was wrong. AN sensi A&B base nutes and calmagic and superthrive only, nothing elsethe hps shot is about five weeks out. The other one is just the one on the right.
It may save a month in time but it cost you a bunch of yield. Whats that worth?im going to start doing that from clone. it should shave a month off the cycle if done properly!
will it really though. yes you will lose some each grow but it depends on how that loss averages out over a year.It may save a month in time but it cost you a bunch of yield. Whats that worth?
