Hi guys,

Once again i'm seeking your help.
My plants are now exactly 12 days old (from the day I planted them).

Now, my question is: Do they look fine? Aren't a little small for their age?
p.s.: the weather wasn't too good here but shortly their will be like 10 days of plain sun.

Cheers guys :joint:

So let me get this straight, I/we am to tell you do they look fine....

OK, I’ll bite “They Look Fine”

They’re fukkin 12 days from when you planted them, WTF do you want us to tell you??

So, probably they have only been out of the ground for 4-6 days…

Again I ask you WTF do you want us to say?

They’re fukkin 7 day old seedlings!

PS I have a suggestion for you:
Maybe just save yourself some future grief....
Quit growing MJ today. If you are this worried over nothing today, how much are you going to worry about something tomorrow?

Initially, the plant put it's energy into growing it's roots. When they grow large enough and are able to supply enough water/nutes above, then the plant takes off. Some strains are quick growers, and some are really slow initially too. Be patient, everything looks fine.

wow this isn't too constructive :s (I mean mr sand4x1095)
This is my first time i ever saw a mj plant growing so how can i know when things go good or things go bad?
Anyway, this was a regular check just to show that everythings fine

From what I can tell, I've seen plants from this age which were way taller and more developped (on the internet)
so I asked myself wether or not my plants were growing fine, that's all.

Btw, I won't quit as I find this quite fun. However, I can probably only do this when it's summer so I won't do this ofthen.

Cheers

Btw dude, there is a reason why this is called the NEWBIE section, so be a little more friendly alright? All I'm asking for are helpful replies.

Dont worry about negative feedback, they look fine to me sometimes soil plants are a little slow i do hydro so at that age my shit was bigger then that, you may want to put some soil up around the plant stem, kind of bury it so the stem dont get so long and fall over, that has happen to me before, If you got a light i would put it a close as possible with out burning them to try and get them to stop reaching for the sky, give it some time and you will see them grow like weeds

halloweener, I totally understand your excitment. They look fine. Don't get too caught up comparing your first grow to others, just worry about getting it all the way through till the end successfully. Everyone starts somewhere and in the beginning it can be very consuming as well as concerning. Have you ever grown anything else before like a houseplant or some basil?

Ok, for starters, some plants you see on the internet have different "day 1's". People calculate differently. Secondly. fill those pots up with soil, yes you can cover up the stem of your plant, it will grow roots there also. Third, get some light on those babys, and I don't mean a 100W incandescant bulb either. And put it close to the plants, not 4 feet away. And get a thermometer, try to keep the top of the plants between 75-80 degrees. While you are enjoying watching them grow, take some time and READ, READ READ. Even experienced growers READ all the time, even if it's just about other peoples grows. Oh, and chillax a little.....here, hit this....

Thanks once again.
For this time, I won't do much effort, meaning I will try to grow them by only using what nature provides.
I'm sure this summer won't be that bad so I guess it will be alright like this :)

Also, in two-three weeks, they should get their "grow-explosion" and in the meanwhile, I do my best covering them from rain as I have a little roof above my terras.
I also got some N nutrients to start feeding them, starting from their 4th week.

One of my plants fell over whilst it was raining, I have put a stick next to it and used some cord to support it. I gues, if it doesn't
get too much rain, it will be alright with the stem strength...there's also sometimes a little breeze up here so it should be fine?

btw, I have 10 plants now and I will select three females when they start showing sexes. When I got mr three winners, I'm going
to carefully repot them and bury them a little deeper. I think this is fairly efficient isn't it?

Cheers.

They look good but fill the pots up to the bottom leafs, that will stop them falling over and as has already been said, get some light on them if you can.

hey halloweener....don't worry about the negative feedback....don't let it bug you.

not sure where in the world you live, but in my neck of the woods you would be late in starting your seedlings, so I hope you are in an area that gets allot of sunshine into the late fall.

....yesterday I seen the first female pre-flowers of my indoor/sunshine grow..... so now the prime summer months should produce some decent buds
