Reservoir keeps draining after pump is off

it is not lower anywhere the water is leaking out. The reservoir is a 45 gallon rolling plastic trash can approximately 3-4ft tall. So the water actually has to be pumped up that high. That why it seems like a vacuum or suction or voodoo or something other than gravity. I can try to so a...

Reservoir keeps draining after pump is off

The pump is on the bottom of the reservoir making it ground level , with about a 3.5ft rise out of the reservoir. So it’s already lower than the plants. I’ll look up anti siphon valve.

What size pots do you use for sips

I’ve used grobuckets. They are made to go in 5gallon buckets. It ends up being probably about 3.5 gallons of growing media (soil). It’s a nice product and is easy to use, i will definitely use mine over and over again. I bought a 10 pack. I’ve made up a homemade version i’m gonna use outdoor...

    DIY Rain Canopy

I built this. Lattice to keep unwanted critters out , deer and rabbits here will rip you off quick. This is the modified version the first didn’t have enough pitch on the roof. If the rain doesn’t drain fast enough it can cause sagging on your roof and sagging leads to pools which lead to...

The medium in that pot was jiffy starter mix which is pretty much void of food i think, after once they were about 2 weeks i top dressed that with a little...

    Wilty weird leaves

I recently up potted so it’s currently just moist around the transplant zone probably. I’m pretty sure these were old seeds. They took a long time to sprout. I’m just not familiar with how older seeds behave. Maybe it’s got nothing to do with it though
