Not at all. It's strain dependent, just like with flushing. There's little truth to flushing making your buds taste different. flushing because you have nutrient lockup however is beneficial. There's a lot of misinformation floating around the MJ community.

I think 10-15% amber is too much even if there was a way to accurately calculate percentage. Trichomes still develop long after the plant is chopped, meaning clear will turn to cloudy and cloudy will turn to amber. So that 10-15% amber inaccurate assumption will obviously rise some months after...

Did I read that right? you're running 4 1k watts? If so you should easily get 4 zips per plant. I'd like to see a grow journal for this, you're off to a good start.
