If the holes are there they are probably big enough the cause is likely watering too often. It is very important the plants dry out and for the record that isn't droopy your plants are in "shed water" mode. You see this on plants outdoors in heavy rain storms.

Yeah I use the no nutrients and low light method of cloning. The opposite method is low nutrients and plenty of light but some hard to clone strains, all my favorites, don't do well with that method unless I am using rockwool which usually I don't.
