Black gold is good I’ve heard. I use Fox Farms Ocean Forest and it’s ph buffered and I didn’t have to add nutes until week 2 of flowering. All it needs is water. Happy frog also works or a mix of the two plus some perlite.

A lot of places don’t, that’s why I said something like it as well. Any good soil will work for you a lot easier and cheaper than hydro will. Maybe not the biggest yields but that’s up to the grower to tweak at that point

My advice would be to not use coco unless you’re really familiar with the plant and the nutrients it needs. I’d stick with a proven soil like FFOF or something along those lines (lots of options) and then you don’t really have to add anything until you get into flowering

Looks fine! A lot of times those seed shells stay on until the leaves start coming out. If the stay on too long you can use tweezers to pull them off, but they should fall off naturally. Check out this website if you’re new to growing www.growweedeasy.com

I use fox farms ocean forest for soil. Mixed with about 40% perlite. I’m also I Washington and close enough to Portland that I can go to the grow shops/ hydro stores/ dispensaries over there. If you’re close enough or near Seattle you got it made

That’s why I thought maybe the addition was too much. I agree on the watering though. I’ve never had a problem in my ffof at all, it’s An amazing soil I’m gonna keep using. I’ve just heard of it being too hot (maybe because of other factors) for some growers/strains.

I’m running ffof now! The first 5 weeks I only watered, no amendments at all. It is pretty hot soil so maybe the extra liiiittle bit of nitrogen is too much? Also there’s already fish meal in ffof so why did you add it?

Fishbone meal Has nitrogen if I’m correct? If your soil is already amended maybe it’s just too much? No pro in soil amendments by ya means :)

Soil takes longer to respond, I’d give it a few days and see what happens.
