Little brown spots only on 2 leaves (Pic)

How close are your lights to the canopy? It doesn't look like nute burn.

    Help

Wrighty, I'm sorry , but I never said feed twice a day. I said to stop all feeding for at least a week on your plants with the nute burn. I think I have found your problem right there. You should not be feeding for at least a week. I am not sure who told you to feed twice a day, but that is...

    Fan Heat Issues

Yeah, I leave my inline fan running 24/0 or else I get heat issues. The fans are built to be run non-stop, so go ahead and turn it on and leave it on.

Have i messed up the 12/12 cycle

First off, get a timer so that your lights will automatically turn on and off for a 12/12 light cycle. You will find that doing it manually isn't going to always work. Your plants will be fine since it was the first time, but really, get a timer or you could stunt the growth and cause stress for...

    party/solo cup drainage

I am a little confused. You are planning on transplanting to 3-5 gallon pots, right? If the roots are at the bottom of the solo cup and you can see them, it's time for a transplant, so do it now before they get root bound. At this point, you can transplant them to your final medium and pots.

    yellowing on seedlings?

The actual leaves look okay, it's your cotyledon that is yellowing. Mine do that sometimes too. What kind of soil are you using? Also, I wouldn't mist them and make sure you are balancing your PH before you water and feed.

    Hydroponics for growing??? beginner?

I agree with mears. Soil is almost fool proof for a beginner and it is low cost to get set-up. If you decide to go hydro, make the move after you have grown in soil to get the hang of growing and what your plants will need.

    Help

Yeah, your nute problem is getting worse in that plant. Hydroponics can be tricky because nute burn is easier to get than in soil. When you do feed, you should only be using 25%-30% strength of your nutes. What kind of nutes are you using and what is your feeding schedule? Both of your plants...

    Help

My tent is roughly the same size as yours, 3x3x5', and I am running a 400w MH/HPS light. You can get away with a 600w light if you have excellent ventilation in your grow room.

    Pure nubie, need help

You would go thru seedlings, vegetative and then flower. Some strains like AK-48 go through the stages fast, but it will depend on how long you want to keep your plant in veg.

    Help

Yeah, a dual spectrum Sun Master would be excellent for your grow. I would use that instead of the CFL's and you will see better growth in the veg stage. Definitely put that 600w dual spectrum to good use, but make sure that your veg room has good ventilation so that you don't run into heat...

    Help

Yes, since your tap water is a PH of 8.2, then you need to balance your water always before watering. It should be between 5.5-6.3 for hydro. You also need to balance your PH before feeding too. That high of a PH will cause extra stress on your plants which may have contributed to your nute...

    help with humidity

It will depend on if you are growing in soil or hydro. If you are growing in soil, then your PH should be between 6.5-7.0. For Hydro it is lower at 5.5-6.3. If you are having trouble with humidity, are you not running your exhaust fan 24/0?

    First grow(outside)

Well, whatever strain it is, it looks like it is a Sativa dominant so expect it to get BIG. Good luck!

    Help

MH is Metal Halide. It is a light that has more of a blue spectrum which is used for vegetation growth. You will see nice bushy growth with MH, but only if your ballast supports it. IMO, since you just fed yesterday, lay off the nutes for a week and water only. The nute burn I saw wasn't sever...

    First grow(outside)

They look great. What strain are you growing?
  19. MidnightJoker

    Help

Okay, your plant is suffering from nute burn, thanks for the pics. If the nute burn is getting worse, how long since the last feeding? You will be fine with 5x250w CFL's, but since you have an extra 600w just sitting around now, does it convert to MH?

    Help

Could you post the pic of the plant with the nute burn??? I didn't notice any nute burn on your plants. I agree with your decision to take out the second 600w light from your flowering room. Much too hot and obviously your plants agreed it was too hot. Your current temps in the flowering room...
