I missed the top pic, but will get that tomorrow with others. I have been watering with lower strength nutes and water at 6.0 and the growth resumed nicely. Te one branch I was waiting on just hit the screen so I think I will flip here soon. Pics tomorrow, advice on fill more or flip will be nice

All interesting info. I have since been feeding at 6.0 water and ignoring runoff. Since I last posted I have seen growth resume nicely, I'm about ready to kick the scrog into flower yummy. Check my journal if you wish, updated pics tomorrow.

As a side note, make sure you watch your humidity as it can cause mold in basements if they aren't built well.

Basements are great to grow in. In almost every other room if you use 600+ w hps your going to have to get creative with cooling. In a basement, however, the natural coolness (mid 60s kinda like a cave) helps greatly to keep temps down. You still need to monitor temps of coarse, but it just...

I like what you have made, it looks great! Suggestions, perhaps make a small reflector for the big cfl, light will only bounce so well off white paint. Other option would be to line the back 3 sides at least with the automotive windshield reflector, they are easy to work with and do their job...

Right, so if the light has a greater spread from a wider angle lens(for lack of a better term) then the footprint is achieved at a lower height and in fact by raising the light outside this spec the light is bouncing off the sides(assuming that there are reflective sides) and losing power there...

Did you ever establish what height you are putting each light at? The stationary 55in thing caught me a while back, just curious if it has been revised. If i were comparing nutrients, i would follow the directions on the bottle, wouldn't you?

Thanks once again for all the great advice. I am taking a few clones today, up to the legal number for me (not entirely sure how unrooted clones work, so staying legit). My bubble cloner has had some pretty fast turnarounds so we will see how that goes too.
