are some strains overly sensitive to co2?

thanks. i have the monitor set at plant height and it never gets above 1500 ppm, so its not a local concentration problem. the generator is five feet above the plants and a fan keeps the co2 from settling in one place. let's see what things look like tomorrow.

are some strains overly sensitive to co2?

here's the before co2 shot from yesterday: same plants in far row - see how they look after 12 hours of co2 (1000pm - 1500ppm, temps 85f to 93f): going to give them another day to recover, as suncoast suggested.

    Please help.. Watering plants

i've used these with two liter soda bottles - http://www.uncommongoods.com/item/item.jsp?itemId=18961&utm_medium=shopping+sites&utm_source=froogle&utm_campaign=18961 - if you thoroughly water before using these then you plants can easily last longer than a week.

are some strains overly sensitive to co2?

these are up to date pics of the mystery seed females that reacted badly to co2, before turning the co2 back on again: and these are five unsexed carmelicious plants just added to flowering room with co2: i moved the co2 generator up five feet to stop any possibly high local pockets of...

    help please...about topping

no, the light is absorbed by the green part of the plants, not the pistils. makes absolutely no difference if they happened to be covered by an adjacent leaf.

Please Help! Lumens per plant or per square foot

here's the deal on light. people use watts as a short cut for the amount of light - but by doing so you are using a rough estimate because each light has a different lumen/watt ratio. so 250 watts of cfl is a lot less light than 250 watts of hps, for example. lumens isn't exactly equal to...

    Cfl yield query!!

no one can answer the question as asked because there are too many variables, many that deal with how green a thumb you have. i can answer that an experience grower with your conditions could easily produce 3 to 4 ounces. be happy with an ounce or two on your first grow.

    help please...about topping

the pistils are at the end of the growth tip so technically there's nothing on top on them unless it's a leaf from another branch. so, no, you're not going to be touching any leaves.
