how long did you veg for because that plant looks like it was put into flower quite young and so it didnt start flowering for quite a while.

well no sweetheart hash is not pure trichs , it will be if you lived in a place such as the mountins of afghanistan where weed grows wild and they can afford to put their finest mature bud into hash but i liv in england and even the highest quality hash i can find (charis) is still not as good...

nah it will have a bit of strength in it, whats the plants strain because a heavy indica would finish at 8-10 weeks anyway and although that branch wont be as good smoke as a fully matured bud, after properly curing and drying it will still be alright, better than hash i should imagine.

cfl's are definately your best option ,cheapest way is to make your own, but enviro-lights and other ones are pretty good too. up until 2 weeks old you'll only want around 4000-6000 lux and around 8000 lux after that. hope that helps.

it depends what you mean by 'work', those cfl's will certainly make the plant grow, the more light the better, personally i like to have around at least 7000-8000 lux for the plants in veg and probably around 10000-12000 for plants in flowering.
