Super Skunk 400w HPS. 4th go around.

Yeah I checked that out. But the spectrum they offer in their 400w conversion bulbs pales in comparison to the Retro White. I put my SS clones and the big momma in my flowering room. They are going to be vegged for about a week or so, then I will switch to flowering. Here are some pics:

PH is 0 in my soil

What kind of lime are you using? The only lime you should be using with cannabis is dolomite lime. Anything else will severely acidify your medium.

Super Skunk 400w HPS. 4th go around.

Update June 02, 2010. I transplanted my rooted clones into some roots organic soil. Except for one plant which I used Gold's organic soil with 25% earthworm castings. Earthworm castings are the shit and you can't really burn your plant with too much of this stuff. It's like dolomite lime and...

Anybody Want To Double Their Yield?- Desertrat's Top and Prune?

OK! Here's the thing. UncleBen and DesertRat are arguing the same thing. Uncle Ben says botany, desertrat provides pictures. DESERTRAT SAID, "...prune every other fan leaf in a staircase pattern. this slows the growth of the main stem and for some reason stimulates the growth of secondary...

Is there going to be a difference?

If the plant has no container around it, then it can grow its roots as big as it wants and grow as big as it wants. If it is in a pot, then root space is contained and the plant can only achieve a maximum size.

2 months of vegetative growth, want to start flowering within a week, repot needed?

Does he need to re pot really? Those pots look about right for how big the plants are. IMHO, I think if you were to take a few cuttings off them, and then flower them you would be alright. As long as you have flowering nutrients that have enough Potassium (K) to make the root system healthy, I...

question about the last week of flowering

Well, seeing how the plants main resource of energy absorption is through its fan leaves, I would say this idea is a little far-fetched. Keep them on, and then when you decide to harvest cut them off. Oh here is a little writeup from Sprucezeus about when to harvest. Great read. CLICK ME TO READ.

my opinion of growing with bag seed

I'm sorry, great post and all and I agree and such but, what does "mid" even mean? Does that mean the middle of a plant that doesn't get as much light as the top, so it isn't as potent? so the seeds harvested from the "mid" bud are of less maturity, therefore quality? But how do you know that...
