Generally speaking, you will get the most out of your plants if you wait until they mature before you bud them. This is generally indicated by the plant when it starts alternating nodes. Yours is still immature, which isn't to say that you wouldn't get a decent yield of dank nug if you do decide...

Also, I'd be really careful with what additives you use in your aero system. Organics (including molasses and most "flavor enhancers") tend to clog the misters quickly. A rep at General Hydro told me to avoid all of the above in my aeroflo2 system.

GH uses white tubes similar to these in their aeroflo2 line - maybe a little bit thinner actually. I think that algae isn't a problem with these systems because there is so much water movement.

I've always wondered what kind of light you'd get off of one of those "para-scope lights". Knowing how light looses intensity when bouncing around, it seems that it would be less than adequate.

I'm still very concerned that these lamps simply will not provide enough penetration to keep the mid canopy happy. Now, thanks to Brick Top, I'm also concerned that there is far too much Red spectrum and not enough blue to provide the tight internode length that I'd like.

Before I plunge into buying this model of LED, has anybody used them? I'd really like to know if you'd think that 2 of these will work for an area 2.5' x 3' vegging clones through about a 12" lollypop.

If it was that easy, I wouldn't be bugging you about it, would I? They are heading off to HPS land after this box. They are not intended to ever reach more than 12" in this box.

Interesting... I did an all T5 grow that seemed to finish up ok. Were you using Red bulbs?

Your 1000w is already the most effective way to penetrate into the canopy. Some of the light actually blows right through the top leaves and gets to the lower leaves. The most effective use of T5s with your system, IMO, would be simply installing 4' strip lights around the perimeter to make up...
