Rasol Highland Landrace - Taming The Himalayan Beast

Hi OSD...looks like you need a little dual time regarding quotes. Quick and dirty...if you hit reply, the entire post is quoted. You can then just delete what you do not want. Another way to do it...highlight the desired text (left button held down and drag) Usually a reply tab will appear...

    Small roots?

Cloning stuff is different. The root stuff I'm talking about...eople use it to start a new bush l from the nursery. That sort of thing. I'd just manage the watering better. A dry spell really gets the roots growing to follow the water. JD

    Small roots?

Cornnug, The best natural approach is to have well draining soil and alowl it to dry pretty good between waterings. .You can buy root stimulator...you'll find it at any Garden Supply. I use it after chopping roots...like to reveg or occasionally clone mommas. JD

    One more week enough?

Khyber, Looks good man. A rule of thinb is to chop 2 weeks after you see most (like 90%) pistils turning color. But damn...she looks ready. I wouldn't go more then another week. JD

    6 Weeks Into Flower ... What's Wrong???

GG, I made that comment to Jondamon refering to my initial post...I think you now realize what was fucking with your plants. The "other option" could be not necessarily a different brand...but a different approach. You don't have to believe everything that thay say...much of which was probably...

Rasol Highland Landrace - Taming The Himalayan Beast

Good morning Aladdin, Thanks for the tips on Malawi. mine being a phenotype of the Golden Tiger (ThatxMalawi) perhaps it will be stretchier then a Malawi. Hope not...but I'm prepared. Watched your video. Well done and useful. I can dial down my red light a bit...but right now I have a mixed...

    6 Weeks Into Flower ... What's Wrong???

GG, The comment that you were "flushing too much" troubles me. I've been reading about different approaches to watering coco, since I'm setting up an auto irrigation system for my coco pots. The actual style of watering seems to make a difference. The suggestion is to water slowly...making...

    6 Weeks Into Flower ... What's Wrong???

Not inferior...it's just marketing. If you have the money and have access to a good hydro store...sure buy Canna. But if you live in the boonies...bricks are cheaper to ship and it's not that hard to do the buffering yourself. But no...it's not inferior. Sheesh Jondamon...I complimented...

    6 Weeks Into Flower ... What's Wrong???

GuitarGuy, I tried to minmimize runoff by keeping my nutes really low. I was trying to avoid runoff because it's such a damn hassle. I'm now using trays, tilted just a bit, with drain hoses out the bottom. Still leaves a bit of water to mop up. When I experienced this problem last...

    6 Weeks Into Flower ... What's Wrong???

Excellent post Jondy...I think my post was assumed to be the generic "flush" post...but in this instance, that's exactly what he needs. Nothing else will do. Cheers, JD

    Manifolding

Hi Hempire, I had that happen...only on one of the secondary toppings. Guess I tied it down too tight. I wrapped it tight with training wire and it healed good...made it through to harvest. I was just going in to change my timer schedule. I need more time to do the work in the flower room...

    Manifolding

Hola Amigos, The other day I cut a clone...and when I prepared it for the rockwool, I cut a bit off the bottom. So now I had this little bottom stem stump with a couple branches...and decided to save it. As I see it...this little clone fragment is all prepared for mainlining. Once it's in a...

    6 Weeks Into Flower ... What's Wrong???

GG, My first coco grow at my new location did that. I was not getting enough runoff and had toxic nutrient salt build up. You need to give them a good flush...then resume and go for more runoff. JD

    Near Death Experience(s)

Hi Guys, I was in a near fatal auto accident 20+ years ago. My heart stopped several times and was resuscitated. Spent a week in ICU psychosis where I couldn't tell reality from what was really happening. I also now have no fear of death. Already been there. JD

Hey old farts..how many over 50 yrs?

Hi Moldy, Nice to meet another oldster. My Dad (may he RIP) had a sign on his shop wall. "If I knew I was gonna live this long...I would have taken better care of myself" Now I really understand that sentiment. JD

    Two seedlings 1 having issues

Hi Chodee, Couldn't find the second one...but you're describing what we call helmet head. Often it works out with no intervention...but if you wish to proceed...mist it 3 or 4 times over a day and use something like a toothpick to gently lift the helmet off. If you fuck up a cotyledom...it can...

Anybody know whats wrong with my leaves?

Well six, I'll give you my opinion for what it's worth. I think that edge yellowing is burn. Either from nutes, but more likely hot soil. Easy on the nutes and as they frow...add maybe 1/4" tesp/gal Epsom salts. I predict the plant will grow out of it as it gets bigger and stronger. Good...
