Here is a thread for info on pH testing. The solids (soil) info may be a few pages in. Adjusting soil pH is not really advised. Just no reliable way to do that. Too much interference for an accurate adjustment...

Sorry. No Internwt for a bit. I tried the Root Organic Veg and Bloom and liked them better than EJ. Mostly the smell and the consistency. They are thick and organic looking. And planties loved them. Would like to check out Age Old and BMO but I havent seen them in store.

I use a combination of EJ and Aurora Roots Organic. Roots for Gro and Bloom, EJ for Catalyst, K, Trace. I've never restricted myself to one line of nutes. These two lines are both very good. I also aerate my nute mixes for about 24 hrs.

Just whipped up a couple loaves of Canna Pumpkin Bread. My grandmothers recipe that I 'fudged-up' a little. Used cooked pumpkin and spaghetti squash, and fresh grated zucchini. Out of the oven in about 45 min from now. Might wait till tomorrow to give it a try. Let you know. The good news here...

Never used the powder myself. Is it a one time use, or doe it make enough for a couple uses? Powder might work for you if your stuff gets knocked around a bit. Just make sure everything is clean and well rinsed.

Oh yes. Dried and cured for sure. I used a recipe from one of the canna cookbooks. I dont remember which one offhand. I just packed them all away for the move. I'd also like to know about the crisco, and coconut oil recipe's. What are the proportions?
