Is ur heating electric? Not sure ur area but if ur in winter electric heat is expensive. Plus if ur in winter u use more lights and such as there is less day light

I've tried soil, tried rockwool. They jus end up dying. I made the cloner cuz its supossedly 100% and I got sik of babysitting and pampering them just to die after 2 weeks. The cloner keeps them alive with less work.
