Thanks guys. I just went out and bought the Sun System Light meter that goes up to 40000 lux. I want to compare the lumens of a new bulb to the lumens of an old bulb. Does anyone know how to use this thing. I am not sure about the difference between lux and lumens and what my HPS should be...

Hey all, i recently bought a few 1000w ups bulbs from a guy i know. He told me that he only used them for maybe a month before having to close down his shop. Is there any way to tell if the bulb is too old to use? Both ends of the arc tubes about 1/2 an inch long grayish/black.

I may just veg under t5 lights. Anyone have much experience with using T5's to just Veg?

I want to bush them out and tie them down a little bit. This probably changes things a bit right?

They will be in 1 gallon containers for a month and put into the flowering room after that. How many could go under a single 1000 watt just for vegging?

Under 2-600 watt lights for about one month, mostly indica dominant? I am trying to figure out how many lights would be needed to veg 20 plants for 1 month.

Hey everyone, i am going to start using Cal+Mag today and the bottle says to use 15ml per gallon of water. My clones are 1 month old from transplant and are showing some deficiencies. Should i use 1/4th the strength recommended or 1/2? Thanks a lot!
