    DWC Bubbler Grow (4 plants)

Day 24 Veg - Well, after some ups and downs, I think things are on the upswing again. After my last round of curling leaves over Thanksgiving, I've determined the plants got heat stressed. I normally leave the doors to the box cracked with an extra fan blowing and try to keep the temps around...

    new reservoir chiller idea.......i think

That iceprobe is awesome! Looks like all you'd need is an AC/DC converter and you're set. If it will freeze 4 quarts or less, it will certainly be able to handle reservoirs up to 60, maybe even 100 gallons, I'd guess.

    co2 enrichment

Don't get huffy there Yosha, I think you need to re-read what you posted. I was just adding to the comments and trying to be helpful. In the May/June issue of Maximum Yield, there was a very detailed article about CO2 enrichment, and I was simply stating a fact I pulled from this article. By...

    Some leaves curling in...WTF?

Well, the box had been continually running in the 75 high / 68 low range for its first 2.5 weeks as I generally left the doors cracked open and had an additional fan blowing outside air in. However, when I went out of town for Thanksgiving, I left the doors closed and it looks like it was...

    Some leaves curling in...WTF?

Sigh, I know. There is a 67 CFM exhaust fan (case fan) at the top of the box with a duct line running to the cool glass connector on the reflector/hood. There is also a 30 CFM intake fan (case fan) pulling outside air (70 F approx.) in as well as a dozen or so 1 inch drill holes at the rear...

    Some leaves curling in...WTF?

Deformed leaves are randomly all over. There will be several good ones, then a deformed one in the middle. No rhyme, reason, or obvious pattern. Plants are 3 weeks old, water res temp is low - mid 70s. Flushed last week with Clearex (have been changing res every week and plan is to flush...

    Some leaves curling in...WTF?

Even with PPMs being in the 500s??? I've had several people p.m. me saying that they've never overnuted with Botaincare, even at full strength and I've been running at about 1/4 - 1/3 strength.... Sigh.....

    Some leaves curling in...WTF?

That would make sense as the doors were closed for 2.5 days straight while I was out of town for Thanksgiving. Max temps reached 84 F according to my digital themometer/hygrometer. Do you think, however, that this is an extreme enough of a temp to cause overheating stress?

    DWC Bubbler Grow (4 plants)

Day 21 and not all's well.... Growth has been intensive over the last 3 days as you'll see, but several leaves are now looking terrible. They have turned shiny and have started heavily curling inward. Often this is referred to as The Claw, but I find it very hard to believe that this is...

Thanks! (Nice "Little Homies" avatar you've got there!) It's been getting refined a bit, but it should be pretty good to go now. The frame of the box is made of 2 x 2s with white laminate particle board. Let me know if you have any other questions.

    Hmmm root rot

What kind of nutes are you using? Maybe you stated and I'm too tired and missed it. Anyway, some nutes, like Botanicare's Liquid Karma, leave sediment on the roots making them appear brown and rotted. However, with some good splashes or swishes in the reservoir, it washes off. Not sure about...
