hey man. Plants look really nice. What kind of lights/how many are you using to grow them?

i know and i hate to argue with you but when i rotate the plant or move the lights overhead they seem to perk right up.

I think this is just the plants opening up to the position of the lights, i have them at different angles and the leaves will spread out to get more

It's the light. haha, sorry that looks deceiving, i actually havent had any yellowing or browning the whole time. It is just a jiffy mix, organic soil. it says it is 48% sphagum peat moss and 52% vermiculite and some lime for pH balance.

i am growing with 2 27w daylight bulbs, a 20w indoor bulb, and a 20w tube. I am on 18/6 and use a diluted miracle grow solution about every other feeding. not too many problems, just slow growth. The soil is just a basic organic soil.

ok yeah, i am only using 2 27w daylights and a 20w indoor with a 20w flourescent tube. would more light make all the difference. because other than that i think i'm keeping ti pretty healthy.

O sorry, that's not yellowing. it's just one of the lights I have on it.

yes this is my first grow and i was just looking for suggestions. so it looks ok, just small? i am only using about 75 watts of cfl. would more light really do the trick?

Thank you, thats exactly what i was looking for. Another question though, is that 86 watts the wattage on the cfl bulbs or the equivalent wattage? (like how some cfl bulbs say "20 watts, (75w equivalent)?

what i'm asking is if the lights i'm using now are not enough.

I am on a tight budget and can only afford cfls. right now i am using 2 20 watt flourescent tubes. Is this not enough to grow a single plant with, because it seems to be growing fairly slowly. Any recommendations?

Isn't this a little small for three weeks though? it has hardly grown at all in the last week.

My plant is about 3 weeks old now and it seems growth has really been stunted. I did just transplant it a few days ago due to rootbound, how long does it take to recover from that?

They are about 2 1/2 weeks old and i just transplanted into an 8 inch pot. I am going to start fertilizing soon. I have been water feeding them but from everything i've read you shouldn't water everyday, however every day it seems like my soil is totally drying out and i don't want to starve them.
