Are you gona go hydro or soil?? Soil is more forgiving for a n00b, and you can learn how to read your plants before you go trying hydro where there's alot that can go wrong if you're a first timer...and as long as you just let them sprouts do there own thing, yeah they'll be alright...even...

Yes it can be genetics :wall: but...what you're actually seeing is the plants internal system transfering water and nutrients throughout the plant...it's quite normal...now if it's a solid color running up your stem then I'd check my PH...good luck and quit feeding those babies...lol...

You never feed a seedling anything :cuss: they have lil round leaves ((cotyledons=food and energy for seedling stage)) that sustain them for at least 2-3 weeks and the nutes you're force feeding them is gona kill em'...always wait for 2 to 4 weeks or when the bottom leaves "start" to turn...

Apple Cider vinegar will fix that high PH level...a tblsp per gal will drop it .5 :mrgreen:...and it's cheaper than PH up/down...

What you have is a Mag def/nute def...you need to feed that girl, that's just my opinion...if you want a quick fix for PH down use apple cider vinegar about a tblsp per gal drops it .5....good luck

Thanks buddy :eyesmoke: ...but no, I've just been there :roll:...and I use Neem oil in veg from bean sprout to going into flower, I don't spray them though, I water them with the mixture instead...it works from the inside of the plant to repel critters before they even think of coming near...

The lime should actually buffer your PH levels to 7 +or- .2...I use a 1/2 cup per 2 sq. yds. of soil, as well as other stuff, I use a super soil (indoors)...but have you looked for gnats or green aphids, they will make your leaves look like that, all twisted and distorted, just a thought, better...

I agree to a point...I have done a side by side, and still have some of the "experiment" left (good shit BTW...lol) and some of it is still in cure, both flushed and unflushed, and I find that the longer it cures (going on 3 months now) the more they taste the same, not quite, but almost...and...

In my short experience...lol...I have found that my girls will almost double in bud size the last 2 weeks or so, and when they are done the calyxes will be "really" swollen, the pistils/stigmas/lil hairs...lol...will be 70-80% reddish/brown, my leaves will start turning yellow "quickly" and it...

I use the "Garden Safe" brand from walmart :mrgreen: but only in veg, never in flower, and only mist them and spray the topsoil, if it's safe for veggies (chillies) it's ""probably"" alright for MJ....but in veg only...you don't want to spray buds...you might get away with spraying the topsoil...

That's a good question that I don't have an answer for...lol...I would imagine so because the self pollenation would be on a female :idea: but that just might be my next experiment :clap: ...and people swear by the colidal silver for fem beans but the stress method is free :-P and has worked for...

How old are your plants? And some pics would be nice...

Go for it...if it stresses it too much and it self pollenates, you will at least have a forest of beans to use on a regular veg cycle next time :eyesmoke:....and here's another myth buster (for me anyhow)...just like colidal silver stresses a plant so will light cycles...I put an OG #18 into...

Not true there green...I use a supersoil...it has garden lime in it (dolomite lime) and it buffers the PH for me....so I never PH anything either...so I'm with Trousers on this 1...
