Ok this might be a stupid question (n00b) but, if I use this MG for longer than 3 months (mg garden soil feeds up to 3 months) will it loose it's "toxisity" so that I may use it for my next grow.(after I reairiate it).or do you recommend new soil everytime??

I'm a n00b, but I've heard it will start doing that about mid way, but to wait for about 75% of them to turn amber color before it's ready...I guess some mature faster IDK..

I'm a n00b, but it's not the MG. I've used it from day 1 of my very first grow, and I popped 6 out of 9 Blue Rhino beans in it. (2 "were" runts) but the other 4 are growing at a pretty good clip and 1 is even showing pistels at 31 days. So "from this n00bs point of veiw" MG, so far so good..

Sorry, but no MG makes 'Garden Soil" to put on or in the ground. I use it all the time for my vegetable garden, it works great...and that's all they had when I got some so I mixed MG perlite and went with it for my babies too..

I hear ya. I'm semi retired (from construction for 30 years) and right now I'm the admin for a medical testing facility. I've played with computers since the DataPoint 2200, before the Commodore 64 were even thought of (days of DOS)..lol.. So our situation is the opposite...it's the cold weather...

For me it was all that was available at the time (in stores) but bottom line is was way cheaper than ff and you got more soil...lol

I use MG Garden Soil (15-5-10) mixed w/Perlite, and MG Houseplant Food (8-7-6). I'm a n00b and this is my first grow and MG is all I could find (at the time) and it worked great for all my plants in the veggie gerden...I've had some issues (under statement) My cat knocked 1 over and soil sat on...

I hear ya buddy, there's a couple on here that "make" their own outa stuff you would throw away...lol..banana peels, old coffee grinds, egg shells, fish, worm castings....and they swear by it...I just got some MG house plant food 8-7-6 NPK (3-4 buck @ WallyWorld) and my soil (MG Garden soil)...

I'm a noob too, but someone correct me if I'm wrong. I heard CFLs give of more light (lumens) from the side of the bulb, and it's better to get a reflector for the side or hang them bare, cuz the coils run down the side is my thinkin'...
