Well bmeat, no offense, but I'm gona go with opinions from people who know how to, and have had successful grows...and they're advise has payed off so far...take a look at 21 days...and I have 4 of these...read the bottom right corner (of pic) for how many days... Kinda speaks for itself...

What did the bean look like? I'm learnin' that a dark bean with visable vains is supposed to be nice & healthy. If it is green or white (even if it is big) it usually means they're weak...I had to do some research on my runts and I think they were white beans, as well as small..

Make sure u keep them lights close, like 1-2 inches from plant, and repot at 3-4 weeks that root ball is probably bound up...if watered properly..

There, now I can see it..lol..ya it needs a bigger pot, and it looks like ur soil is wet, do you have holes in the bottom?? is it draining ok? It looks like too much waterin goin on to me, I water my plants twice a week and I don't soak them, just a half a cup to a cup (depending on size of pot)...
