Well I just put my babies in their new pots and new soil, everything went pretty well. I expected some stress, but they look pretty good a couple hours later..Here they are at 25 days from sprout.

I wouldn't...I used four 26w 6500k for first 2 weeks, and then bought a couple hoods, and more 6500k, and then some 2700k to give a fuller light spectrum...I'm running almost 500watts...6500k are for vegin'...2700k is for flowering....you can put 2-6500k to 1-2700k for veg and the opposite for...

Ok, first of all, how many bulbs are you runnin'? Cuz it looks like it's not enuff (ur trying to imitate the sun) and with CFLs they have to be all around ur plant. I'm running almost 500w of CFLs & fluorescents...a nice mix of 6500k & 2700k...more 6500k than 2700k for veg (2to1)...more 2700k...

Really?? Those are the "feeder leaves" for the bean, for at least the first few weeks and he only sprouted on 2/5/2013...just 2 weeks ago!!!

How old is it? How big is it? Do you have any pics? They are "feeder leaves" for the first few weeks of the seedlings life, so it depends on how old it is, I would let them fall off...would you want someone to pull an arm size scab off your body?? "It's jusa babay!!" *Steve Erwin..RIP*

I've heard it's really up to you after the plant reaches 10-14 inches, with at least 9 nodes. But, I've also heard to wait til the plant is strong enuff (8-10weeks of veg) and develops a nice root system. I'm a n00b so I'm learning (to not take bmeats advice..lol) and will have to do more...

I would think the "4-6 inches" would depend on how it was grown, and how compact or stretchy it was..I'm a n00b, but learnin'...lol..
