Yeah sounds good, it will probably stay together better where the roots havent grown yet. Maybe get a friend and another shovel and lift it out from both ends with the shovels after you get it cut out.
oh I see, yeah 10 days isnt too long but you would be surprised how much those roots have grown, just dig pretty far out and dig nice and deep, you will probably cut some of the roots but it should recover if you dont damage the main taproot.
Thats cool you are gifting them to a friend.
I wish I could get some rain, we arent getting any, supposed to tonight. Hope it doesnt pass us by again, I been visiting my plants far too often for this part of the year, just to water. Usually we get plenty of rain in April and May and I dont have to start carrying in water until late June...
In all seriousness, I wouldnt cut the leaves off unless they looked like they were about dead anyway or were covering a bud site during flowering, and even then you can just push it under the bud site. Leaves are good, you will see at the end of flowering and you start to flush, the leaves will...
I never cut off any leaves.
#1 they store nutes, water in the leaves like has been mentioned
#2 They take in sunlight/growlight through the leaves.
Dont they teach photosynthesis in schools anymore? These questions are beyond basic, you dont even have to had grown marijuana before to know...
Oh dont get me wrong man, I absolutely love it too. Just the work can be tedious sometimes. When its 90 degrees with 100% relative humidity and I got 2 gallons of water in my backpack and one gallon in each hand and the sweat pours in my eyes, it sucks, lol. But Im an outdoorsy type, I go...
Yeah and water moccasin I forgot about them, the guy above reminded me of them, but they are usually near the ummm... water, lol. You are in Oz right? Yeah you guys got some crazy snakes to worry about down under. Im in mid-Atlantic USA, not many snakes to worry about besides the copperheads and...
I cut the branches off, lay them in a newpaper, roll the paper up and put it in the backpack. Get it home as quick as I can and start trimming and hanging the branches.
Im not really worried about them near my plants, id probably welcome it, but Ive stepped on a couple and been bitten a couple times. Luckily never by a copperhead, which are the most dangerous snakes in my parts. I always wear pants now when I go to the spots, no matter how hot it is , because...
Yes its real common with clones, Im not really sure why they do that for just about everyone. But it happens a lot, I am a member of a lot of forums and Ive read many posts like this this year. A clone is already sexually mature and the shock from going from 24 hours or 18 hours to outside puts...
Yes it sucks, its worth it in the end usually. Poison Ivy, carrying in soil, hauling water, jagger bushes, snakes, transplanting plants, etc, etc.. It all sucks. But if your plants make it to the end that backpack full of bud is great to bring home.
Oh cool, hope you post some photos of the Critical Mass, I hear thats a great strain to grow, huge yields! Even more than Big Bud.
Good Luck this year JD.
