ok thanks for the feedback. It might be worth experimenting with these reflectors. I have a new box been built which is flat white paint but I might get some of that mylar sheeting later.

hi, yes I meant the silver tape. I have seen this before but wanted to know a bit more about it and what is? Is it fireproof or something and is this important to use for the exhaust pipe? So to make an exhaust pipe like this then I would need ro buy flex duct and some duct tape!

What is the silver material used in some peoples exhaust pipes? Is it vital to use this material and what is the reason that it is used? I know I have seen this using in kitchen exhaust pipes in the past so I guess it is the same thing. Here is a pic I found that shows one.

truepothead, was your grow room open with no reflection from white walls or reflective material? I'm guessing they might not be needed if the light is bouncing of walls in a box but if they in in an open room then reflectors would make a big difference I think? What do others find works?

check out what others use in their soil, like perlite, coco etc before you replant.

ok that sounds like a cool tip and I will try that. I think I will do a fair bit of experimenting and try a few different methods on cloning tosee which gives me the best results.

My box has 2 x 48 cool watt cfl (true watts) plus another 48watt natural and one small 15 watt. I have 3 plants in a 2 x 2 foot wide 6 foot box. Do I need to have my cfl lights with shades behind them like in this image (not my pic) ?

Is it possible to keep cloning starting from one plant. Let's say I cloned this plant and got 5 clones started, could I then clone 5 new clones of one of those first clones and so on?
