    Documenting First Grow!!

On another note I know that veg seems less important then flower when it comes to ferts but it is actually very important to create a good soil environment in veg so that you go into flower from a good starting point. It will effect the final outcome. An inexpensive and so far for me successful...

    Documenting First Grow!!

No real normal state for how leaves grow in each strain. I have a strain that only ever produces leaves with 3 tips. Very strange but its an amazing finished smoke tested at 17% THC .71% CBD and 2.06% CBN with great taste and smell. Can't judge a plant by it's leaves.

    NEED HELP! please.

They will be fine. Less light doesn't really cause to many problems until it gets excessive. It is just a little less time under light to grow. I had to do something like this as well and had them in a U-Haul truck for 24 hours. No noticeable stress.

    Acidifying Soil Help With Purchase

Are you mixing your own soil or buying soil? If your medium doesn't already have a correctly balanced PH then you need to figure out what part of it is causing the problem so you can either change it or compensate correctly i.e. lime etc. I have never experienced a problem with the PH of the...

    New 21x10 Grow Space

From a quick look h&g looks a lot more expensive. I may just be to tired for math but it looks like it would cost more then twice as much to use the recommended dose of the base Soil A and B from h&g as it would to use the base line recommended usage from CES. Plus if the have basically no...

    New 21x10 Grow Space

You could run Cutting Edge Solution. It is cheaper than other lineups and I have never used anything simpler. Save some money without a learning curve required. I don't even PH anything any more sense I started using it about 5 cycles ago. Just runs flawless. I have however now started to add a...

How do I handle the summer heat?

Even if you replace the HPS with a lower heat emitting light source the problem is still our outside air temp. You say you only have 1 AC in the house so it looks like you already know where it should be located if growing is a priority over your own body temp comfort. Just sleep in the spare...

    My Giant Zob Died Today

I accidentally broke my giant Zob today. Down stem was stuck and I used a little more pressure to try and get it out and it cracked. Felt like I was being extra gentle but I guess I don't know my own strength. I won it as a prize last your on 4/20. Actually it is the second time it has been...

The Importance of Flushing -- too often overlooked

I will agree with the no real need to flush before harvest. That being said I guess I always interpreted flushing for harvest as just discontinuing your feed schedule for the last week or so. Is it not just the same word being used to describe 2 different scenarios and actions? One meaning to...

    Pot size science

In my experience transplanting into to large a pot to early increases the chance to over/under water but I couldn't speak much beyond that. I jump from 1 gallon to 7.

    Entire room for flowering , options please 11' x 13' x 7'

In an open room that size, using those 2 lights and ducting through like you say in setup 2 You should probably get enough passive air flow in the room to not use Co2. Unless you have a perfectly air tight bedroom.

Big ass spider in my tent

I think cannabineer misunderstood. It falls more in line with physics. Generally speaking everything in the universe is energy. Some we have developed tools to measure and potentially an infinite number we have not yet discovered a way, some of which we may in the future. Applying that way of...

    New 21x10 Grow Space

You could also run 2 plants per 1000w and run all 8 lights. If you can get those numbers from 4 plants per light you wont have any problems doing it with 2. I am currently running one large plant per 1000w. Each plant fills a 3.5 sqft scrog. So far so good and I have my fingers crossed on at...

    To grow for a living

Pretty common to make your living from it here on the west coast. It also requires a much smaller operation to make a living in a place where it is illegal though. I have a buddy who went through law school passed his bar exam and got his license to practice then felt the same as you. He lives a...

Big ass spider in my tent

I vote let it go. You never know the plants may be more sensitive to negative energy then we are they may suffer if you kill it around them. I have recently been thinking about how to create a more harmonious energy environment for my plants. Especially with all the electromagnetic energy coming...

why do people hate advanced nutrients?

AN works perfectly. High quality and good production on your plants. Just confusing and expensive. To many products gets complicated when trying to dial in a system. I ran a pretty good chunk of there line with great results just ended up going with something else that seemed much simpler...

What's da madda wit you? Leaf problems

It looks like some of the new growth is healthy and green correct? That being the case I think we can rule out nitrogen deficiency. Could be nutrient lockout from PH. You mention heat issues? What are your temps? Have you sprayed them with water under direct sun or HPS lights? Could be the cause...
