feed the plants according to their size, if you have a mature mom you can feed her a full doze of whatever you are using, don't give young plants the same dosage

for flowering, LEDs will work better, but the good ones worth spending money on are expensive... if you go with 2 foot t5s try to get at least 4 or 6 bulbs in there, imo check these bulbs out...

II've never grown hydro either, but the method above seems the most popular, you can go to youtube and see it in a action, pros, the plants grow faster, cons, you have to be able to monitor your plants more often, keep ph in check, and its easy to fuck up as a begginer

sounds like you should be good, add a cheap 6" inline fan in the middle of the lights if you dont feel the 8" is cooling the lights enough

grab a couple feet of chicken fence or similar, then form a u shape around the cooltube about a foot from it and train your plants aroung it, i first did it in my last grow with a cooltube and 400w hps and got 160g out of 4 plants
