    Cloning

There's a search feature, and about a billion posts on it, and you need to pick your own way from reading, learning and experiencing... But heres a copied post of mine on the subject, and a link to the thread in question, you're welcome...

I need advice on maximizing yield.

Yeah to be precise I run clone from clone in a 2 week interval with a mother for safekeeping, and the clones root in less than a week and spends a week more vegging in the chamber before I veg them under the lamp. So +3 weeks vegged really.

Hate to be the thread-killer, keep em coming guys!

I need advice on maximizing yield.

Hehehe I havent done that kind of math, but I'm approaching 1 gram per watt under the 600 hps in this way, and essentially have a SOG-kind of filling of even tops on 4 roots/pots under the lamp... Can't be bothered with all these clones and pots... But some of it is due to the rest of my...

I need advice on maximizing yield.

Meh why not decrease your plant count SUBSTANTIALLY, along with the workload? Are the strain a branching hybrid or a lollipop indica? I get 4-5oz of premium bud from a two-weeks vegged hybrid topped and maximized with prunings and guiding of branches, in 3,5 gallon pots... Veg until 6-8...

when i flush my plants isnt that kind of like over watering??

A complex issue. A flushing is most often a procedure to leech out excesses, and you run a lot of water through... Overwatering is like djruiner says to constantly keep it too wet, which more often than not induces rot. If the plant is sickly when flushed - which it often is - the flush might...

White little bugs at the bottom of my pot? anyone know

To my knowledge springtails ain't that bad and will not infect the plant with diseases, munch up it's roots, or damage them in other ways that I know of... Search, here and in google.

    Help

And your containers seems big for that size of plants... Look into potting up in stages, it builds better root-systems and decreases the risks of what you're experiencing now... I see you use perlite, I've found around 30% of it to be a good ratio.

    Help

Yeah I'm not too into all of this flushing-advice, it is necessary at times, but often induces problems such as yours with root-rot as a consequence. Do whatever you can to dry them up ASAP, root-rot is chronic, systemic, and some nasty shit really...

White little bugs at the bottom of my pot? anyone know

Do they jump an inch or three when disturbed? Springtails, very common and not too bad.

    Need Help Sexing My Plants...

White pistils emerging from the preflowers at the nodes, female. The ballsacks are usually somewhat later to show.

    Still need help with cloning

Until you get more experienced, take new clones from the finish-vegged clones just before you flower them, keep the mum perpetually vegging and supplement with clones from her for your flowering scheme if you need them, and change her out once in a while with one of her OWN cuts to keep the...

    Proper growroom temperatures!!!

Ummm hehe I would just like to add an hypothesis of mine... The Indicas, originating in the Himalayan foothills, may just have developed their squat, dense stature and tight growing pattern as a way to create their own microclimate for protection against lower temps and weather in general...

    stuck in seedling stage?

Flower them at 6-8 weeks old, when they're starting to show preflowers and the second lower branches (first "true" set) are big enough to take for clones - if you plan on that. Also, if you're short on height you might wanna look into topping them and allow for 6-8 branches to develop without...

    Increasing female to male ratios

Reptiles determine their sex from environmental factors, alligators for instance will become all male, all female, or a mix depending of the temperature in the nest. Also, species of fish can change their sexual expression according to environment and other factors. Cannabis as a plant...

4/5 males??? say it aint so w/ pics!!

I am of the opinion that the plants chose their sexual expression when they sprout and asses their surroundings... Seedbearing plants needs good anchorage and an ample pocket of soil to extract nutrients from. So use deep pots for germing, the unhindered downward growth of the taproot will...

GH Flora Nova Bloom in DWC - continual problems

There's much controversy around the "incurable" part, I'll copy a couple of other posts of mine below to help enlighten you some more on the subject. If you take clones from infected but seemingly healthy mothers, it WILL follow the clones and be the cause of outbreaks in flower. Pay attention...

GH Flora Nova Bloom in DWC - continual problems

Well, as I said, root-rot is systemic and incurable. You'll need to do a kill-off, sterilization routine, and go from seed again to get rid of it... In my experience. And h2o2 and organics with beneficial bacteria does not mix well, no.

First time grower..and post...is my plant good?

And when you repot, bury it up to the cotyledons, the stem below will sprout roots and help stabilize the plant as it hopefully gets heavy with buds... Careful not to overwater now, the number one newbie mistake. Good luck.

GH Flora Nova Bloom in DWC - continual problems

Well ummm it sounds like you've got root-rot...? Pythium, do a search. Some says it's curable, others not... In my experience it just might be to manage, but since it is systemic, it will follow the clones, and are NOT curable. Good luck.
