The onle thing different about 12/12 from seed is you dont have much time to LST, so whenever i do 12/12 from seed you usually see single cola plants in my grows..

These are my two 12/12 girls. The first picture is still going, link is in my thread but... That second picture was chopped really early and gave me ~14g. Being my first grow, I now have eyes, if you will. They were both topped and tied down under ~130w 2700k CFL. I just wanted to share my 12/12 tie jobs with you and want to add that I was a bit shy my first time around. These upcoming buggers are really going to be tied and tortured.
Not trying to hijack your thread bro, just wanted to provide some pictures of LST'd 12/12 rather than single cola 12/12! Also glad I found this thread because I am subbin' up. They look great!

I'm using MG Soil and MG Perlite and Mg Nutes LOL. No busg whatsoever for me. I guess it depends where you buy it and if the bags been sitting on the floor etc, etc. Its not the best thats true but I've seen some people grow some monsters with it. its a experimental grow for me but its turning out okay. No bugs tho the bark in the soil is annoying and you definitely need to add perlite. I think in my next grow I'm either going to use cfls or 400w MH/HPS . I've been thinking about trashing the taller plant and concentrating all my lights on the smaller one.. It looks like a lot better genetics than the tall one.. tighter node spacing, better looking budsites, thicker main stem.. and the tall one is just that, tall, lanky, like 4 inches between nodes, thin main stem, shitty looking flowers.. I really wanna either throw it away or give it to another grower.. I dont want the tall one anymore, and the shorter one looks like it will be a bigger producer..
Let me know what you guys think..

idk youll prolly still get a better yield keeping them both. maybe youll end up liking the bud from the other it may just be stretching because of sativa genes or it needs more light.
are you cloning the one on the left? you can still clone even in flowering some say its actually better bc the plant is more mature..either way it works or you could even reveg that plant a couple times even. and also take clones from the new growth.
but if your main concern right now is weight/quality of buds im really not sure if cutting down the one and focusing light on the other will give you more or less yeild..but it will give you denser and more dank bud on the one you keep.

i think you should concentrate on having all your light come from up above first off. then ,i would put a more reflective surface on all the walls . meaning a clean flat white paint . after that i would place both plants as close together as possible with the light directly overhead (like 4 inches or so). i would keep both plants. i dont think they are going to stretch as much as you think anymore. theyve already been in 12/12 for a while now and i think i see a budsite on both tops right? anyways , just some suggestions hope everything works out . good luck

taking everyones suggestions.. i'm just setting the tall one aside, it will still get light but not near as much.. I just want a tighter noded single cola plant thats dense, and thats what i'd get with the smaller plant.. Plus, its a lot healthier too.. I noticed a lot of burns from the light and cuts and tears from where the leaves got caught in the fan on the tall one.. I'm not worried about yield.. I just wanna grow the best looking plant possible, and that tall one just looks like shit..
