Thats why I love to share!! You can only teach what you most need to learn.....
Only thing you missed is the 5.8 water puts them to sleep...the 6.5 ph feed water and lights and warmth wake them up....the flood of rain makes them hyperdrive to wick away the rain just like when it rains in nature...all the plants grow like crazy after a hard rain once the sun comes out....observe plants after it rains next spring...you will be amazed...but your instructions of what to do are dead on....awesome!
I have been kinda holding your hand BKB so now with the tools you are learning try to figure things out...you can do it my friend....but I am always here ..or someone else who knows ...and never panic or freak out...it'll make you kill 'em..lol
The tds or if you would prefer an ec meter will indicate the strength or actually the salinity of your mix....you can find what strength they can take and then just mix your nutes within that ppm or ec reading and change your mix to obtain the best ratios but remain at the salinity level or strength the plants like
You really have no idea what the strength is of your solution without one....As I can assure you throughout the grow you will use less than recommended as well as more than recommended..the tds or ec meter combined with reading the plants will allow you to get feeds correct faster and more accurately
Hope it helps.....
