6 shot, one dead during a protest against police brutality in Portland Oregon. 2022 is going to suck

"Smith kept yelling and then drew a handgun and fired, striking five people, the affidavit said. One woman died and four were wounded."

"Another man is believed to have fired back, striking Smith in the hip, according to the affidavit, other court records and a source with direct knowledge of the investigation."

So another mass shooter for the right wing propaganda to lionize?

Of course they do. We gave them that power as a society. Our democracy did that. Because more people are sane and less people are like you
If you as an individual don't have the right to do something, such as use offensive force, you couldn't possibly delegate it to others.

Your response relies on an impossibility, therefore it's wrong.

Well an entire police force in every country proves how stupid your argument is. But you do you pal

It’s called democracy aka collective majority. People ACTUALLY doing something instead of standing on the sidelines doing nothing but complaining (like you are now)

The existence of a police force which is NOT voluntarily funded, at least in most instances, actually makes my argument though and weakens yours. If you have to force unwilling otherwise peaceful people to pay you, you aren't the protector, you are the rights violator.

Might or majority doesn't make right, right makes right.
Democracy to be rightful can't do things which would be wrongful if an individual did it.

My arguments aren't stupid, they are persistently and annoyingly logical and usually correct.

That's a rather empty argument and almost sounds like you got nothing.
It’s almost like you just don’t get it. You seem intelligent, so part of me thinks you’re just trolling. But you do you. Enjoy having no police force and no one to call when someone decides to invade on your rights.

If someone steals your car do you call the police? Or just handle it yourself? You probably think you shouldn’t have to wear a mask in a business either

Except a police force primary mission isn't to protect you. It's to control you and to seek revenue. You won't be able to refute that, but try if you like.

If someone steals my car, that's a rights violation.

If someone threatens to steal your house if you don't want to pay them, even if you don't want and didn't ask for their "service", isn't THAT a rights violation too? Even if the people threatening you have badges ?

That’s your opinion and you’re entitled to it even if it’s wrong.
It's an irrefutable fact. Which is why you haven't offered an argument.

When your opinion or the opinion of 99% of people is opposed to a fact, you can't vote a fiction into being a fact.

What's an irrefutable fact is that you're being manipulative by taking a small percentage of something they do and turning it into everything they do.

So just putting the tip in isn't rape ? Thanks for the clarification.
