looking good for my next grow guys, just got a nice new tent.

i paid $149 for this but after i got 1 the price jumped up to $249 so i think they fucked up on price and i got a bargain, just hope they come good on the deal still.

i would say it is mylar. it looks an awful lot like an indoor elements tent. plus it has alot more vents etc than most cheaper ones so im thinking it should be alright

i have been stung by ebay chinese shit before where it has not even been the product shown in the photo so fingers crossed. for the price though i wouldnt even care if i have to line it with diamond foil or something. main thing i was looking for is a tent with enough vent holes to run my aircooled hood straight through the tent without cutting holes, plus run my carbon filter etc

oh and i should add im just using builders sarking to line my current grow room so its got to be a step up from that lol

Yeah gotta love the ports for convenience. I have a cooltube line that runs through 2 tents and out without ever touching the air inside so no need to filter it. Also have exhaust through the filter from 4 tents and temp controlled cold air intake that hits all 4... need a lot of ducting ports

Ya just put ya filter sucking the air out thru the cooltube and then u only need the one for both

Works fine for me but i run ac with twin 600 cool tubes so my tents stay at 24 degrees celcius

Depends on the tent but mine have 3 vents ontop and one in the side at the bottom . on all of my tents... Big and small tents exactly the same.. Only thing that changes in my bigger one is the vents in the roof are bigger..Small fit upto 8-9 inch and big upto 12inches... So i run cooltubes of the exhaust filter duct and the other top ones for intake and the side one for leads

My air coming out the exhaust is only about 26-28 degrees after passing thru the cool tubes

I run a 8 inch Centri fan direct off the filter and then a 8 inch centri at the other end of the duct so i have no issues but as you said the ac is the key in this ... Plus i have oscillating fans in side blowing from every direction so the airs all ways moving and the temp controlled ac is pumped in via 2 8inch blowers

yeah i plan on running it like miyagi's air will come in through one side through the air cooled hood and out the other side without interacting with the air in the tent. i also have another 250mm fan which will be running exhaust through a large carbon filter. temps will be fine. im also keeping a close eye on a few dehumidifiers and aircons on ebay at the moment 2.

How do reckon I'm gonna go with a 600W HPS.....I'm worried about the heat...gonna need some sort of extractor,,any suggestions???

320 bucks for a portable one thru bunnings... Make a 1x1x1 box of ply. Insulate it ... Put the air con inside the box Put ya ports off the ply and suck the air into your tent... If your ac is cooling the tent properly there is really no need for dehumidifiers as it is humidity is relative to the temp.... But i still run dehumidifers even tho with out having them in there i have 60 % humidity
