We will, on the federal level, eliminate incarceration for drug possession, reduce sentences for other drug offenses and apply these reductions retroactively, legalize marijuana and expunge past convictions

Pete & Biden have a long history of racial abuse
I wonder what the narrative would be if Sanders fired the black police chief in Burlington because he was going to reveal racism within his ranks

Not really though, we all know what the narrative would be. It's only a problem if Sanders does it because he's held to a different standard than Buttigieg and the other establishment Democrats.

Ya, being put off by decriminalization is what we got now. The bootleggers run everything doing God knows what with our money. On top of that you have to pee in the cup and wait longer than a Crackhead to come clean. Then people like me are denied medicine because the State's AG says it's still Schedule I. Really sucks and our happiness isn't important enough?
Everyone is sidestepping Bernie. If you don't think he can win try this man's view.

Aug 7, 2019 The Republican Party wanted absolutely nothing to do with Trump. The majority of them publicly saying so even after the election. They quickly changed their tune when he demonstrated he’s an easily manipulated putz like W was. Lindsey was a late convert but after a round of golf at a Trump club even he came around.
Vote out your local Republicans that are doing that to the people in your state, that sucks. The Republican party needs to change away from their very narrow legislative agenda.

BERNIE SANDERS PROMISES TO LEGALIZE MARIJUANA FEDERALLY BY EXECUTIVE ORDER, EXPUNGE RECORDS OF THOSE CONVICTED OF POT CRIMES

Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont vowed to legalize marijuana nationally and expunge the criminal records of those convicted for possession of the drug at a rally near Dallas, Texas on Friday night.

Sanders made the remarks while speaking about criminal justice reform during the event held at the 5,500-capacity Mesquite Arena. The campaign stop was the third of the day for the busy Sanders, the first two having been held in North Carolina.

"By executive order, I can and will legalize marijuana in every state in this country," Sanders told the crowd. "We will expunge the records of those arrested for possession of marijuana."

Sanders promised to "end the so-called war on drugs" to a cheering crowd, while also tackling other issues related to prisons and incarceration.

"It is not acceptable to me that we have more people in jail in America than any other country on earth including China, [with a population] four times our size," said Sanders.

"We are going to end private prisons and detention centers," he added. "Corporations should not be making millions of dollars in profit for locking up fellow Americans."

Sanders is dying, he's unelectable.
Bernie might have one foot in the grave, but win or lose, he will leave behind a grassroots movement and a lot of apprentices. I share your concerns about his electiblity in certain states, but mayor Pete has other issues with that same constituency, as do women candidates in general. IMHO old Joe would have the longest coattails among such voters, but if he can't get by the democratic party there ain't much point in carrying on if he blows SC. Bloomberg might make many Bernie supporters stay home, if there are issues with his nomination, but I don't figure he will get it. I think he's more interested in running 2 billion bucks worth of negative ads against Trump, he'll have lots of material to work with, perhaps he should spend a few more billion to do the mountain of it justice... I think Bloomberg already bought up all the TV ad time between now and november anyway. Hillary could win against Trump this time for fuck sake, so could Marx himself, so I figure Bernie's got a shot with the right VP pick, it's up to the donkeys my friend.
