Nope as stated previously I don't support public profanity like that, (JT's Dad did) and don't believe in the 'one bad apple' generalization either, but everyone has the right to expression. You don't. Re; ("keep it to myself") though, I appreciate you trying to guide me. As per the rebel flag cancelling stuff, well no more repeats of Dukes of Hazzard, or learning from history, which I think is a shame. When appropriate I don't hold my opinions much, nor do I practice my "God given right" to flip the bird much (JT's Dad did). Glad to see the inquiry into foreign election influence and also the honorable Mr. Dang voted for it as well. so credit where credit is due. It's important for us all to find out what is going on. There are many paths to the truth, when following only one path to the exclusion of others, the follower becomes a zealot, and the truth becomes a fallacy.
This oughta raise a hackle or two.

You haven’t learned your lesson about global news yet, huh?
I'm beginning to wonder about them! If they fucked up on the MP story they are in deep trouble for liable, they made explicit accusations, however they could have been made by a Chinese source. We need to get to the bottom of it, it is unusual for such explicit claims to be made in a Canadian newspaper, considering our civil liable laws and the criminal liable law in Canada.

Cancel culture is way beyond can of worms. No more pride in heritage or knowledge of citizens journeys and struggles through history, wear the wrong t-shirt and your an enemy, worthy of berating, insults, and worse, but never listened to. The borg has got them.
Disagree, we are only beginning to acknowledge every citizens struggles throughout history. I do agree about wearing the wrong shirt and you're an enemy - but that is nothing new, just being applied to people that haven't experienced it as much throughout history.

The educational assistant and grade 4/5 teacher that we know have both been fitted for full body armor to deal with disruptive/violent behaviors in the classroom. There is little support from the parents or acknowledgment that their children are little shits. Influences start at home and you become a product of your environment. Discipline is absent as is personal responsibility.

Well BLM as an organization is (was?) corrupt and decided to stop the pride rally in T.O. to protest the metro police from participating. De-fund the police? How'd that go Portland, Oregon? I have no problem with supporters of BLM, but the organizations leaders had the same moral fiber and goals as the bottom pic. I am against toppling statues of our countries founders,, and calling members of the royal family as promoters of colonialism etc. etc. The common cancel culture mindset is hawking the ideals of the WW2 era nazi party or any communist regime, and get there knowledge from cartoons. Intolerance, ignorance and want have no place in my home, except when applied to thrips and spider mites.

I believe you'll find corruption and grift with basically all non-profit organizations to a certain degree. It is very frustrating that it happens, but I don't believe BLM is more corrupt than most of the others, but constantly has to defend against it and really makes me wonder why?

I can't recall a toppling or throwing paint on statues, that after spending time reading up on the historical issues, that I didn't understand the frustration of people and how it got to that point. Doesn't mean I support all the actions that those groups do or have done. I don't think most people have an issue with celebrating the history of how the country became what it is, as long as we acknowledge the abhorrent behaviour that happened as well.

One day I hope to be able to say that I'm not ignorant, but far too often I catch myself reading up on issues that I have certain beliefs on, only to realize I have been ignorant to the root cause. I am trying to really look into the history of subjects that people are protesting about before forming my beliefs, and have found calmness(for lack of a better description) in acknowledging when I don't have enough information. I haven't had to battle with spider mites much, but thrips can go fuck themselves. So hard to eradicate those fuckers once they get inside.
