I'm glad ya posted that link to this place. Ya definitely have a new fan..lol. I was just going through my seed. I'm excited to get started with this seedling to flower gig.

That's ideal mate, the more the merrier.
Initially I was aiming to keep them short hence the root pouches and not re potting until 30 days 12-12.
However I'd like to see the difference using a large pot from day #1 makes.
Since its Christmas I've treated myself to a pre flower/sexing tent, I've 4x t5s for it.
I'm saving a good few quid, the day they go into the flower they're 1 month old and alredy flowering.
omfg it's going to be another exiting year!

That tent is a very nice gift. I'm sure you'll get a lot of use with that. That'll feed the flower tent some healthy girls ready to blast off.
I like those root pouches. I'd not see them used before. Like a mini airpot. You get some great root systems going with them.
About the larger pots..do they make larger sizes in those pouches? Can ya diy them? Perhaps 16oz party cups would provide more space temporarily.
I just picked up a 8 lamp t5ho behemoth. Damn thing weighs 30lbs..lol. Good to see your using the same type light.

I'm going with 6 plants total...
3 seeds and 3 clones,
Seeds are Swiss skunk, king gelato #2 and blueberry twist #2
Clones are og kush (#1)
King gelato (#1)
and limon blanco (#2)
The limon blanco was only re potted yesterday or maybe the day before?
I'll give it another few days in 24hrs then put it in with the others and also hang the led over them.
The kush and gelato i re potted on Sunday were put into 12-12 today.
Everything appears to be moving along nicely

30lb 8x lamp wow that's a fair t5 unit it sounds ideal .
The root pouches, yes there's loads of sizes available I find them really convenient and they work well.

The 2 autopot plants are going to be growing fast this week and the seeds have a bit of stretching left to do.
Before I can do the final arrangements they need to fill out so i know what's going where?
I still need to start the auto feeder and get the autopot module into the tent, I've been sitting the pot in a suacer of nutrient overnight then swapping plants over lol, there not drinking a huge amount they'll be fine for a few days.

The blueberry and skunk are getting into flowering mode now.
The king gelato is a bit slower to get going.
I removed the tip shoot from it today.
It's been helpful in the past, it splits the top into 4 shorter top buds. watch this space if you're interested.
It's the one with the largest leafs
Edit...I got the autopot module into the tent and hook up to separate reservoir, if there's any problems with the valve it can only spill 10ltr max

23rd Dec...Put into 12-12
Feeding 1.5ec
Coco with 10% perlite and no pebbles or perlite in the bottom of the pots,
it's working as it should re filling the autopot module without roots out of the bottom of the pots.
It only takes around 6/700ml which imo is a good thing getting multiple refills rather than one big one.
I'm feeding 1.5ec atm
If it's going to flood the tray can contain it.
I've read enough to be cautious about them but personally had no trouble with the older aqua valve.

The lower shoots have taken a stretch, the tip is now going to have 2 shorter buds rather than one big one.
It can also split into two growing shoots it depends how soon after flipping you nip it.
Temps aren't ideal, 23/23.5c at the canopy, 21/21.5c under the canopy.
I'm going to raise the ec to 1.8 tonight or tomorrow.

Hey bud, thank you. it's a week for the clones and around 5 weeks for the seeds 12-12
Actually I think my timing might be a bit out at the end, putting the clones with seeds around the 3rd week would work out better i think?
Your right enough in that they're eating well.
I've learned if don't raise the ec before turning up the led the ec falls dramatically and its a pain to level it out again.
To make things worse I've got 2 plants looking like they need a bit more and 2 that look like they need a bit less.
It'll work out alright but I feel I've missed the boat on this one, that's cool likes it's part of the learning curve and streamlining it.

For future reference...
Get 12-12 seeds into the flower tent at wk 3 and re pot.
By the the time I get the light turned up it's a week gone, 1 week less would let me increase the intensity properly the very start of flowering.
Don't mix clones and seeds it's not ideal, the time frame/age difference makes feeding them both properly a pain.
For a bigger plant when space allows, start seeds in 5ltr, lst them early on, give 18/21 days vegging at 24hrs from sprout then flip.

OK after some thinking I just need to accept I've missed the boat on this, that being the case I'm not waisting money on a 720w light so I've used 2x units @250w each.
My reflector is hanging on easi rolls it's ideal
The temps have jumped up not surprisingly, I need to let it settle before I can get some readings taken.
