I'm pretty sure the establishment of a jewish state after WWII and all the military supplies given can be seen as help. The Jewish people didn't beat back and take more lands from the arabs using matzah balls either. I'm also pretty sure the Jews didn't liberate themselves, so yes they had help. Don't take this a disparagment of the Jews, but to deny they had help is very uninformed.

I dont know of giving us the means to defend ourselves, or returning our land can really be seen as "help". help implys we got something, regardless of wether or not we deserve it. we were only given what we were owed.
abd the weapons, look into isreali gun design. where did the uzi come from? Jews have designed some world class weapons that function very well, regardless of the fact my people are fighting in a desert.
in the start, we were provided with military aid. but what else was there to do. who gives someone a bunch of land back, but no way to defend themselves.
