Not on Parole.. I was in 95'.. but cool today..

Kept my nose clean, and my pipe loaded.. successful ever since.

What's up fellas? I Just got back from the hydro store, plus a few other places. Let's see, I'll just let the pictures do the talking.

Went and got me a 3 gallon bucket with the net pot lids, One lid for veg and flower.



Another light for the veg room.



Damn you CG, now I got to buy everything you get.





1 new bigger and badder air pump for the flower bucket, 1 tube of marine grade silicone to secure the air stones to the bottom of the buckets.



Stopped by radio shack and got me a 60 - 100 X pocket microscope so I can check out the trichs. 12.95 at radio shack not to bad on the price.



Starting to buy parts for the cool tube. I just found the end caps today still working on the rest of the parts.



Picked up some perfect beakers to make it easier when measuring out my nutes.





I just got my calibration solution today as well. Later on tonight I'll be cleaning and calibrating. Man I hope that fixes my problem.

Tomorrow I'll be setting up my new veg bucket and moving one of my clones into it's new home for the next 10 -12 weeks.

If you can't tell, I'm getting pretty excited to get my second grow under way.

dude awsome beakers : O . im jealous ... where did you get those?

I ordered those from amazon.com. I could have got them cheaper at the hydro store but I didn't know they carried them until I seen them there today. It's all good though. I was using digital scales to weigh out my nutes in oz's but I figured this would be much easier. The beakers have measurements in pints, cups, oz, TBSP, TSP, and ML/CCM. Every measurement you could possibly need. I don't know what CCM means but I'll google it in a bit.

Well it's good news fellas. I just got done cleaning and calibrating my meter. The pH probe was perfect, right on the money. The ppm probe was way off but it's reading a perfect 1500 ppm now.

I'm so relieved that it's not messed up. The last thing I wanted to do was return it for repair.

I got my other light fixed up with 4 more 26 watt 6500k cfl's.

Lights just came back on a half an hour ago and I'm getting ready to put in the veg room in a bit.

I got one 5 inch air stone siliconed to the bottom of my new veg bucket. The only thing is, it has to set up for 48 hours before it's fully cured. So I'll be moving a clone in it probably Thursday night.

Yeah I think my second grow will go a lot smoother this time around.

I'm gonna have to put the cool tube on the back burner for a while. It seems that hydrofarm doesn't make a flange for my exhaust blower, so I can't hook up an exhaust hose to it. I searched high and low online and at my local home improvement stores and I can't find anything that will work. The only option I have is to see if a local metal fabricator could make one for me.

However I have another plan that dmoose wanted me to do from the beginning and that was to raise the floor/shelf I made in my flower room. I would raise the shelf about a foot and put gaps between the boards and add a fan under the shelf blowing up through the gaps while pulling air from my passive intakes at the same time to increase air circulation.

I did this in the veg room and I can tell there's major difference with the air circulation in there. If that doesn't work I'll go to plan B and have two flanges made for my blowers and implement the cool tube.

What's up everybody? it's been a while since I last posted on here.

I chopped my girl last night at nine weeks.

I trimmed for a cpl of hours and laid everything out on a window screen and it's drying right now in a dark room.

About 4 days prior to the chop I took a small sample and put in a homemade dry box with a computer fan drawing air through the box. Then 2 1/2 days later I got my first taste.

It's got a real sweet flavor and at first it was like a real upbeat heady type high but after about 30 min I found myself staring off into space and pretty much stoned off my ass. After about 2 1/2 hours I was passed out on the couch.

It's the creeper weed man and I cant wait to check it out after it fully cures.

If I had to guess it's probably only around 3 ounces. I'll give ya all a dry weight in about a week.

It's definitely not the quantity I was looking for but for my first time I think I did pretty well considering I almost killed her off due to rookie mistakes.

The second round should go a lot smoother.

Tomorrow I'll be giving the grow room a good cleaning and I'll be making some adjustments to increase airflow because I still need to get the room temps down about 5 more degrees.

I'm getting there slow but sure. I think I'm getting real close to getting it dialed in for my next grow.

If all goes as planned I'll be throwing one of my clones in the flower room on Saturday and veg her out for 2 weeks under the 400 MH before I make the switch to 12-12

The 5 inch air stones have done wonders for the clones and they are nice and healthy.

I just ordered a new pen style ppm and pH meter so I can keep better tabs on my clones.

Hey Dropa, very nice grow & journal...you saw it all the way through...despite the setbacks. I still haven't started yet, but this grow was a big help as well as motivation for me. Thanks man...buds look great.

Final weight was 117 grams just a little over a QP.

I just got a 400 watt cool tube it should be here within a week.

Heat problem solved, I'll post a cpl of pics of my new and improved set up in a cpl of weeks.

I put a clone in a little over a week ago under the 400 MH and she is doing just fine and she's nice and healthy.

I switched to 12/12 on Saturday so let the budding begin. I know this will be a much better experience the second time around.

What's up everybody I've been away for some time now because I wanted to improve my grow room and my skills before I posted anymore crap photo's of burnt up plants and obvious newbie mistakes.

This is gonna be my last bag seed grow because I just ordered and received some Northern Light # 5 beans from HighGradeSeeds. I'm really stoked to finally start growing some quality herb.

I've still been busy growing and improving my grow room and I've done just about everything I can do besides adding co2.

I've added more passive intakes.




I moved the pegboard to the back of the door with fan to blow across the tops of my plant.



Here is a cpl of shots of what I got going on now first week of flower. She is an original clone I took back on 4/8/2010 I've been vegging and supercroping her for a long time and she's a real branchy girl.




I built a shelf with slats about 1.5" apart and 18" off the ground for better air flow.




I got rid of the chiller for now because my temps at bucket level are 71 to 74 degrees. I put a box fan under the shelf blowing up for improved airflow. It's resting on some cement blocks for now but I plan on building a frame with legs to lay it on in the near future.



This is by far the most important improvement so far. I finally got my cool tube about around 6 weeks ago and the difference has been like night and day.




Along with the cool tube I got a 530 CFM 6" inline exhaust fan. I'm running it along with the 2 hydrofarm 60 CFM blowers for a total of 650 CFM exhausting my 3x3x8 closet which comes to 72 sq feet. My room is currently running between 76-80 degrees depending on the temperature outside. I would have never guessed that I would have needed that much exhaust to vent my little closet.





The last 2 pics are of the canopy, green and healthy.
