First grow! Come check it out! (pics)

Your doing fine man just remember not to over complicate things. Watering once or twice a week is ideal depending on your temp in the room and how dry your soil gets. Germinating that many at once is a little too many for me as well. Once those plants are a few months old there going to take up a lot of space. Hopefully you have plenty of grow space because ideally you want to have a veg and a flower room. Dont use that hps until you have to; it generates a lot of heat which could stress the plants. Also you might want to look into getting some blood meal it works wonders. Ever thought about setting up a hydro system? Everything is automated which means less work for you.

in my opinion i think as a first time grower he should stick with the soil it is much more forgiving than hydro and if something goes wrong it only means losing maybe 1 plant depending on the issue, with hydro if his rez gets fucked somehow he could lose the entire crop .

man theres no way im over watering. i water like once a week. i let the soil get real real dry before i water again. i think its the soil. its a little hot for them.

it is easy to think you arent overwatering them and really are, im not saying i know for 100% certainty that you are but the signs they are showing are signs of overwatering. if the soil was too hot they would be burning on the outside tips not drooping downwards like they are.

sometimes the droop is unavoidable as it is just the strain, sometimes its not over watering but whats in the water you are giving them. if your giving them tap water is it city tap or well water? maybe try watering with distilled water for a bit and see if that helps then you can assume that it is something in your tap water that is causing the "droop"

all ive ever gave them is distilled water. the city where i live has the worst water in the state (from what i heard) .... this IS my first grow but man i really dont think im over watering. i wait untill the soil is dry dry dry. Before i started this grow i read that most new growers over water and im trying my best to avoid being part of that statistic lol.

thanks for the input bro! i only have 10 plants right now. and im sure a few of them are gonna end up being males so im thinking ill have 6 or 7 to work with. (3 are feminized). When should i start using the HPS? What exactly does blood meal do? And i actually originally wanted to do hydro...but like matt said....its my first grow and i thought soil would be the best option for right now

  • well i got my grow bags in today....and i was gonna transplant all ten. but then thought. 1. i dont have enough soil lol! and 2. why would i transplant my 7 white russians to a 3 gal bag...when i dont even know which ones are females... thats a lot of wasted soil on the ones that end up bein males. lol. So tomorrow morning...im buying more soil and some 1 gallon bags for the white russians. the plants in the bags are all feminized. i got a blue widow, mikromachine auto, and a nirvana PPP. Its crazy how the white russians...even though there the same strain...look so different from one another.

    any feedback would be awesome.
