No nutes in soil, haven't fed nutes yet, and I water atleast once a day. I did notice someone mention that seedlings do not require light so earlier, just water and a humid environment. It is cold here and if I turn off the light the temp will drop to much. Did I loose the second one?

I'm not expert enough to know. I mean the leaf looks healthy. I just don't know why the coto is like that. They shouldn't need nutes this early but it makes me wonder. I would keep the 18/6 light schedule. What temps are you looking at and is there air flow?

They are 6 days old in those pictures and soil is organic mix (peat moss, vermiculite, perlite, and an organic wetting agent). I have them under a mixed spectrum light. (2x 5000k 800 lumens, 2x 6500k 900 lumens, and 1x 2700k 1600 lumens. [ 5,000 lumen total, mixed spectrum 2700k 5000k and 6500k]) These pics are today's (1 wk old). I have them on a lower light schedule, 18/6 now. Lights are about 5-6 in away. Temp stays around 79-82 F and I don't know humidity level but I will. What do you think is wrong with them. They aren't growing taller (leaves are getting longer though) and the tips of the bottom leaf seem to be burnt or something.

There fine .... That's just the baby leave ...... They die off .... If it just Cfls move them 2 about a inch away they will be starting to need the light now still to small for nutes ..... You won't see massive growth with your lights .... Everything's looking fine..... If you are watering everyday maybe a little much try every 3 days .... Soak the soil let dry out repeat .... ;)

Thanks! I had no idea they fell off. OK, so I have them a bit far but I'll adjust the rack and bring it up a bit more. It's dark time for them right now but later on I'll post new pics with the box setup and such. In regards to watering, I kind of hold off on soaking them mostly fear of drowning them. How do I know when to stop? LOL! I'm really digging this forum tons of help!

Waterings easy but I had trouble at the start ..... They can go a couple days without water I used to water every day and just a little, but now I let the soil dry out before watering and give it a good soaking till the watoer runs out the drainage holes at the bottom then your good for another couple days ...... I think the one on the right might be a runt ..... When you drop your lights just keep A eye on them for heat, but Cfls are usually ok ......

I am no expert but will try help you along ....

They'll show signs of being root bound. . I don't have my notes on me but I think roughly 2 weeks and they need to be moved into a 1g.. that should hold them 15-20 days.. Then to a 3 or 5 gallon etc... I'm sorry shooting from the hip

That sounds just about right Jartlow. I ask because I wasn't able to find a definitive answer, I am assuming it is down to the growth of the plant. Just making sure. Thanks!

I think it was a humidity issue. Going between 10% and 32%. Added a bowl of hot water for steam but I fear that is only a temp solution. Any more long term methods to controlling humidity of a grow box?

Not to be a smart ass but grab a cool mist humidifier. I'm about to invest in one myself.

That does look great!! I don't use a humidity dome :( lol

I might have heard after it's first set of leafs would be week one. Honestly though I'm without a clue.

What amount do you water them? I keep reading nutes at like 6 tbsp per 1 gallon but I'm no where near 1 gal of water and don't feel like I will be at the 4th week mark?
