It doesn't matter forget about it. So If you want to go with DWC, what size buckets? I use 5 gallon buckets and even if i scrogged the plants would get big and that 600w HPS I use is just barely getting the job done so if you get big buckets you probably will have to get more cfl's or a hid, led.

LEDs are super expensive compared to full spectrum CFls my local hydro shop has so I'll probably just grab another 235w fs cfl and reflector an rig it like I have the other, cause I'll have to do that when the bc bud seeds get here I'm gonna grow the Colorado stuff and the black. I picked up the oaksterdam university weed growers textbook today it has a ton of great stuff in it, and I haven't thought to do dwc I'm running organic soil and I haven't done any research on hids are they worth it?

Those CFL's you got or getting I was looking at for a mother because they produce almost no heat and perfect for a closet, I'm curious how they're going to do for your plants. If you do evently go with DWC don't buy pre-made kits(too expensive)and just buy the buckets a air pump and some net pots at a local greenhouse and you will pay a fraction of the cost it would be pre-made. How are your sprouts looking this morning? I took two small plants out of my first tent this morning because they were just wasting resources and put them in the closet. So now both my tents have 4 in each under 600w HPS. They like the extra real estate. I don't know if I will grow out the two in the closet and may just kill them.

I killed off my sick plant the root wasn't growing at all and I have to make room for the black seeds comin in soon and the plants are doin great! They were pretty dry this morning so I put 2ml of iguana juice in 6ounces of purified water and split it between all three and they are really loving the extra nutes but I'm giving them extremely small amounts of it so I don't burn them like you said. An I've got the cfl 1 inch from the plants here they are. The temp in the close. After the light has been on all day and night was only 8 degrees hotter than outside the closet with the door shut not bad.

They are a nice healthy green. I'm not sure what a 230w cfl is equivalent to but I personally wouldn't put more than 4 plants under it. Do those cups have any holes in the bottom? if not it wouldn't hurt to poke some in to help dry them cups out. Looking nice though and they will be growing fast in a few days so keep that cfl close to them or they will stretch.

I was about to buy a bucketter dwc system from stealth hydro but it just seemed like a huge headache having to constantly check the ph and makeing sure everything is mixed right( I fuck tht part up every time)and I'm about to have 4 plants so I guess I should go buy Mylar and another light soon to maximize reflecivness what do you think?

It's 6400lumens and yea I poked about 12 in all the bottoms an slightly on the side to to help airation that's why there a big ole puddle under me they drain super quick though.

Mylar is good Very reflective and no hot spots. My tents are 4x4x8 and I can easily do 6 plants in one so if you're going to do 5 or so a 4x4 room should do also never hurts to have more light.

Yea I was reading on here that for CFls your supposed to have them cover the entire plant with light, I can't run tht cause my electric bill would murder me at the end of the month. I have an extra mougul mount I could just buy a slightly smaller cfl and hang that next to the other one with out a reflector and I'm putting Mylar down on my supply list too.

Ya most of them also use little 30w bulbs to and have like ten or so just surrounding the poor plant lol. You got a good bulb and I would buy more as those full spectrum ones can be used for the entire grow. You can get that bulb pretty close to the plants as long as it doesn't burn the plants which it shouldn't, and the closer the better. I would say that if your power bill went up by 5 buck because of the light I would be surprised. 1200w between my tents and I only see a 100/120 a month increase in my bill.

Oh shit well if that's the case I'll go pick another one up later this evenin my local hydro shop is awsome they have everything and it's a little hole in the wall so it's kinda private to. I think it's only 60 bucks for the light and reflector And the yoyo adjustable cables. Shoul I get a parabolic reflector or horazontal I'm not sure if another horizontal will fit easily.

I just went and picked up this other full spectrum 125w cfl so it should handle all light requirements with all four plants hopefully.

Now you got 250w them plants will thank you for it. It shouldn't get too warm but they will put out some heat. As long as you got that fan blowing the air between the lamps and the tops of the plants you should be fine. And side by side like that is perfect. As for reflectors use what you got they shot the light down and thats what you want especially in a tent or a closet. Does it get warm on top of those reflectors? it all looks good.
If you stick with growing and expand you will probably get a air cooled hood or cooltube and some hids. I like hoods as they shot all the light down, a cooltube you can use for vertical grows(just take the reflector out and stick it in the center of the tent and circle the plants around it).

Ok I adjusted the fan position like this?
And yea you can actually put your hand on top of the reflectors after 13 hours of running straight and it's just slightly warm it's starting to heat up now though in that closet lol

As long as it is not strong enough to blow them over, you just want a light breeze The fan is to move heat and stress the plants a little..

The fan only has two setting and they are both extremely gentle it just barley shakes the leaves I have it on 1 now which is low. Now that the fan is on them there leaves have really opened up man thanks a lot for the help!
