Look around, the only people advocating against abortion are fundamentalist religious nutjobs who lack reasonable arguments. All they, and you seemingly, have is "ABORTION IS MURDER!", well, as I've already told you, the law says otherwise, so it doesn't matter what you believe it is

Progressives abolished slavery and progressives signed the civil rights act

Are you giving up using your Vulcan logic to explain scientifically why you oppose abortion? To recap, you say

  • a zygote is different from the mother.
  • A woman's primary purpose in life is to have babies.

This is it? Your logic seems to miss a few steps. How do you draw the conclusion that a woman's primary purpose is to have babies? What is it about the zygote that requires a woman to go to term?

I have asked two questions and you insult me. But that's OK, I forgive you. Isn't that what your kind does? So my questions are:

  • How do you draw the conclusion that a woman's primary purpose is to have babies?
  • What is it about the zygote that requires a woman to go to term?
From a scientific point of view, all objective and verifiable and all that. I'd really like to hear what your answers are.

So in other words, people like you voted against abolishing slavery, so it's pretty funny when you try to claim you're on the right side of history this time when it comes to abortion. I can assure you, 10, 20, 100 years from now, people will view the "ABORTION IS MURDER!!" people as a lunatic fringe. Republicans have already lost the social conservatism battle, American society has moved past the religious Christian fervor of the Reagan era from which your irrational belief originated. That's why Ted Cruz got spanked in the republican primary just like Huckabee and Santorum before him. Not even the majority of republicans want that.

I'm really curious, Dave. Did you just make this up or something? Did you read this somewhere? If so, I'd appreciate you posting a link. Because what you say is counter to anything I've ever read or observed for myself.
