i'll try to answer your question:
if there's some drops of water long enough staying on the leaves it can happen yeah. it happened to me a few times.
try to imagine as if your plants were under a magnifying glass. i think it's the same effect.
but don't know about the CFL as i didn't grow on them before. i only use HPS for flowering & MH for vegetative.

on the second pic on the left you see her startin to grow over the reflector.
i gotta find a more suitable place for her soon in there.

Hey hef, I dont remember if you've said about your temps, etc..... but I am curious what your temps are as I see your lights are like mine(I do 4x600w) and I have to run the ac 80% of the lights on time-----I dream of the day(coming soon!) when I get all vented cooltubes and not fight the heat as much. Like throwing $$ out the window with the ac burning 8-10amps or whatever; be nicer to use that on another light, haha!!

And we LOVE your pics, hef! I'll get some new ones up here sooon--been taking lots......

haha, yeah, they're starting to pack up on the buds now.
& you're right about the nuteburn, oh yeah.
i was watering them with 1/3 dosage of nutes every day for about 10 days. better stop this madness before it's too late ha?
anyway i bought me these Hanna Ph & Ec meters. also some Ph correctors.
for at least 10 days now i mix my water & the plants seem to take more nutes than before.:weed:
as far the temps are going from 79 °F / 26 °C by night, to 88 °F / 31 °C by day.:o
oh & my lamps in the flowering room are 4x400W now, i had one 600W hps but it's broke. now i only use 400 watters & 2x250 Mh for vege.
but i do fight a lot with the heat issues & don't worry much about it.:joint:

u gotta buy that stuff dude. don't you even think about stealing or something.:evil:
my advice is, you gotta get over the fear that seems to contol you first.
then when you've done that, go to some shopping, get your self some beans.
try to figure out what type of growing suits your needs, do some research before on the internet &

just keep it as your secret & try not to tell anyone about your operations.
there's not much more i can tell you about it at this point you're at.
