how deep are those bags burried ?
well with a bit of calculation, I found that 400 gallon is equal to 1,500 liters !!!!
and 1500 liter is equal to 1,5 cubib meter, my best guess according to them pics, is that them Bag`s is only half of that in diameter so they must be sticking 3 meters down !!!
have a look at this pages/calculator
http://www.soilsaintsoils.com.au/Resources/Soil-Calculator.aspx
1 trailer load (I guess a normal small trailer) is 0,7 cubic meter so you will need 2 trailer full to fill a 400 gallon pot/hole
Edit: just for fun, I did try to see what the soil would cost at my local grow shop, and they do sell soil in units with 60 bags of soil on each, with 50L in each = 3000L = two pots = 3,600 Danish money = 625 $
best of luck
yep with a hugh stavia plant, maybe one you have had indoors under some MH light and repotted a few times over the winter, so you have a hugh Veg. plant once its spring and you plant her out in the green house, could be fun to see how big you actually could grow a plantIt does get me thinking, what would happen ... a 400 gallon bag filled with all mix or something, half up out of the ground for areating purposes (smart pot)
Root stimulators.
In a climate like mexico, in an outdoor grow house / tent where you can pump extra co2.
ohw damn.
Knobhead. Can I hit this guy?you did not say if your growing inside or out side, so not going to spend any time with this question ,
Welcome to RIU. No need to get defensive.Great, I think of an interesting question, explain how its relevant to me, throw in a few simple questions anyone who has ever grown before would be able to answer, and what do i get?
depends on the strain and amount of sun and nutes, cant really say for sure but if you get full sunlight, nute properly, and have a high yielding strain you could get around 4 oz if you ask me, could be more but probably less.I'm currently using 5 gal grow bags anyone know the maximum potential yield for that size bag?
Im a first time grower, and i am not spending this much on soil, my primary concern is just that the grow works.
I was thinking i could probally do 10gallons/40litres.. how does this sound?
