My seedling is bent over. note this is my first grow attempt. this plant has bent over. im guessing due to weight.
its 3 days old it germinated almost fully within 24 hours and was done by the time i woke up the next day.

sorry for the bad picture, its hard to get because its in a cylinder atm. its the only thing i had that wasnt TOO big to grow in at the moment.

From that really shitty picture you took, it looks like a normal seedling because the stem is pretty straight. And that yellowness will turn green in a matter of a couple days. But that's just guessing on my part, because you took a really shitty picture.

And you best change your growing medium. I see a lot of wood mulch and no soil
its a mix i thought it would help with draining since i dont have any soil that isn't in the ground and drains good.
when do you think it would be good to transplant into better soil.
my cylinder is way too small so i will be transplanting before the roots hit the outside of the cylinder and die anyways.

dont think im COMPLETELY stupid and have it sitting under the bed or something dumb.
i have my setup just fine, or so ive read.
its just the plant i was concerned about.

You could put it in new soil right now. I'd do it before the root starts getting tangled on all that wood. put it in something you plan on growing in for the next couple weeks at least.

thanks, i see alot of people using black/darker soil, is browner soil ok? if so i will use it, and transplant it now.
i just have about 2 cups of some brown soil i could use

we're not trying to offend you with our questions or comments. It's just with what you've given us to go on, you're obviously at least a little bit clueless. We've all been there! That's a normal seedling, put some lights on it and put it in some decent soil without nutes asap!

Check your local nursery for mushroom compost and cut it with some perlite. Best soil grow you can easily get. It's sterilized, organic nutrients, has antifungal and antibacterial properties, and is loaded with beneficial bacteria

i understand your only giving Constructive criticism, and i prefer it, but i think he went a bit harsh when i was asking about the seedling not grow space.
i can easily read up on grow space, but when it comes to the condition of the plant im clueless,
and yes im a new grower so i still have a lot of room to learn.
i read about the mushroom compost online but my local nursery is on the other side of town, but it looks like its the trip i have to take

sucks that your nursery is so far away, but an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of "cure" we all want those pounds don't we?

you should not be concerned about that seedling. its just growin at its own pace and stature
again, thanks for the reply.
i know i can only give it conditions not results.
its just like you can lead a horse to water but you cant make it drink.
i was just curious as to if it was dying or if it was ok,
ive seen posts about bent seedlings growing into fine plants, but as a newer grower i decided id ask someone of expertise

i know, is there any alternates i can use for the time being?
like maybe a home-depot/wally world kind.
its less strenuous on gas, seeing as my job decided when i trasfer they will lose TWO of my checks.
so im two checks behind, so it was hard to fund my plants to the fullest extent.
i PLAN on creating the ideal enviroment when my checks come in but as of now im stuck with what i have.

any home depot, wally world will have a 5 dollar bag of soil. And it will say potting soil on the bag. Nothing wrong with using that. But what you want to do is also buy a bag of perlite and mix it with your soil. It's like 5 dollars also. It is a necessity in any kind of mix. Mix about 60/40: soil/perlite. That will get you by until you get the expensive stuff.

That ratio varies from grower to grower, but that's how I've done it.
