Holy shit!!! Did anyone else get woken up by that earthquake?

I was woken up at 5 AM this morning by a 5.4 earthquake. I live between Indy and St Louis and Holy shit!!! It lasted 30-40 seconds and set off alarms in cars and buildings. I knew we were supposed to get rain so when I was shaken awake I had flash backs of a tornado near miss a few years back. Any way just wondering if anyone else felt it?......
 
NO! i didn't feel it.... wish I had though, just about everyone I know did. my house is only one story though, so maybe thats why. I'm a good 270 miles or so from the actual epicenter.
 
I've never experienced one. I went to San Francisco after they had one back in the late 80's early 90's and saw all the damage. I've had several tornados come within a few blocks of my house but this was a first for me. It shook my house so hard it woke my whole family up and set off car alarms all around town.
 
and maybe my mom just died too.... asshole

haha but people need to realize most people do not know about other people family matters, counter strike 1.6 told me that
 
yeah I know..... I don't understand why people get so pissed either..... I've had things mentioned to me that had some pretty shitty timeing..... but it's not like they knew about it, so i wasn't gunna get pissed, it's not worth it.
 
I'm not pissed. Shes alive and kicking. I just wanted to make a point. I've done it myself and apoligized for it after I did it. You really shouldn't make jokes like that because it could have been true.
 
what apology and wtf dont even joke about your parents being dead, im sure they did more for you then you could do for them (guilt trip)
 
I got in a pissing match with another member on another thread and made a crack about his mom. I felt bad because his mom had nothing to do with our problem and like you said deserved respect. So I appologized and won't go there any more. Your right they have done alot for me in my life and I only hope I can make the rest of their lives as enjoyable as they have made mine.
 
i've never experienced an earthquake i live in the south. we had a tornado go by today but hell i think we get a tornado every time a cloud forms lol. the biggist thing that happened here was katrina.
