Ok so I need some love on my grow lol, when do you guys think I should look at flipping into 12/12. The 4 on left are the Strawberry Cough, middle front is purple kush, and 2 on the right are super silver haze. They're spaced according to how much stretch i expect, im just not sure if they ready yet. Any advice?

The SCROG Screen is 99% full only a couple more days to go and the Screen should be filled 100% of the way.. Hope y'all like the pic .. I took it whilst the UV-B was on just before the end of my plants day time (12/12) - STELTHY :leaf:

Stelthy is right, you could start flowering now but if you want to make the best of that space give them another 2-3 weeks and train them out a bit. Patience is a vurtue when it comes to scrog, a little longer of a veg and you will be rewarded in the end.

Wow, last night was unreal.........my boy brought over something, donno what, lol and I took pics and posted but I was soooo wasted. Anyway I meant to ask what those damaged spots were..... light burns (?) also for the very 1st feeding exactly what and how much should I feed them ? Even though I was blasted last night....I still think my girls are showing sex (2 tiny sharp (things) at most every node). They are hard to see in the pics so gonna have to try to get better pics later.

I would wait to flip as well. At a minimum, about half your screen should be full when you flip. Good luck on the super silver haze. For the user it can be the absolute fire; but for the grower, that fucker loves to stretch and it takes fo-ever to mature. I recall leaning over and whispering to her, " you having fun hanging out in the flower room all by yourself? You feel lonely cause all your girlfriends are gone? Well guess what bitch, I'm through waiting for you and I'm cutting you to pieces". That was the beginning of week 12. Fucking skinny princess strain.

Think I found the answer in Seemore Bud's book

"These stipules are often confused by new growers as pistils
or female hairs. Both male and female plants have stipules."

So guess it was my eyes.

I wasn't going to say anything (as my camera sucks at focus as well) but ya, can't see nothin' male or fem about those yet.

The leaf burn looks like one of 2 things, over watering or root damage. They look like they were transplanted recently, if some of the roots were damaged in the move the plant may be using fan leaf nutes to compensate for the root intake loss. If thats not the case its root rot, basically the same thing but can be harder to manage, you would have to cut back on the water for a while and let the plant repair its self. I have gotten very bad root rot from humidity issues while out of town (auto drip feeders are a bitch when you aren't there to check up on them) and it took weeks for them to come back, basically had to let them dry out to the point they were screaming for water then wait a day or 2 and water them, then its back to every 3 days (at least thats how I do my feeding schedule.

As for feeding and what to feed, I use Fox Farm "Open sesame" "Beasty Bloomz" and "Cha Ching". I like them because they are easy, I have tried other nutes before and Ph gets all out of whack, ppm levels spike or drop rapidly and the quality of the buds suffer. For vegging I use a plant energy and grow formula from a local hydro store, its organic and easy to use as its relatively weak and over nuting usually happens early in vegging in my experience. If you are looking to go organic all the way through the cycle try Botanicare's organic line, I honestly haven't used it but from the information I have gathered its a very easy to use organic and can give a nice "soil like" flavor, many growers swear by these nutes and I will be running them starting this winter.

lmao talkin shit to a plant love it. I've heard mixed things from growers. the grower i got the clones from says its his favorite strain to grow and has been running it in his perpetual for about a year now. but he isn't doing any training so stretch isnt really a problem.

So, whats the least amount of time you can veg for to do a scrog, say I had 2-3 weeks to veg after seedling?

Veg times are generally longer with scrog, the whole point is to let the plant grow up into the screen then start growing out and exposing more branches to light, the less time you spend vegging the smaller your scrog'd area will be, if you just let the plant grow up into a screen and dont give time to train it, its not really scrog, at that point you are just using a screen to support the plants weight.
